protein cannot absorb through your skin. you can keep you hair and scalp clean. baldness is hereditary. back comb it after you've curled or fixed your hair. my mom is so bald but we can make it appear like she has more. the cut is important. layered cuts appear like you have more hair. you can try eating right and vitamins. do some research and just see what the results are. you may just have a problem absorbing certain nutrients throughout your digestion/absorption process. good luck.

Use some wonder 8 oil on your bald spot. It will give it the proteins to thicken back up. If your not of African American background and don't want your hair to be oily try it as a hot oil treatment. Put it all over your head. Heat it up under a dryer, let it sit for about 7 minutes after, then wash it out. The proteins will be penetrated through the scalp to help aid in growth but your hair wont be as oily. Buy it at sallys or Walmart for 2.99 a bottle.

protein will help most definitely....you also need to massage the area.(my mom was a masseuse and said that it worked for many people).as far as the soft hair that falls...try teasing (ratting) lighty and then barely brush over it...it will create the illusion of fullness...and help hold the fine hairs in place-then spray it in place..
I hope this helps...Happy New Year..
