Not all Christians are priests. Not all priests are pedophiles.

Well, I think you are referring to the problems with the Catholic priests. The answer is right in the Word of God... (1 Timothy 4:1-3 in the New Testament)
"1The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth."
It is not natural for most people not to marry. It causes the problems we are seeing reported in the media today. Remember in the Bible when Paul was giving advise to those entering the ministery, he said that he wished everyone could be like him and not marry, but rather be totally focused on ministering for God, but he also said that if they could not do this that they were to marry rather than to burn (in lust).

Pedophiles are sinners. The sin issue is solved at the Cross. There is a lot of sin in this world that seems acceptable now. We need to leave the judgment to God and learn how to "rebound and keep moving". Our old sin nature is with us always. Christians use 1John 1:9"If we name our sins He is just and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". WE are than in fellowship with God and can worship him in spirit and in truth. Peace out.

just don't confuse true Christians with Catholics.
there are Catholic Christians but not all Catholics are Christians.
Being Christian is not a religion; it is having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.....
being "born again" unto salvation.
religion "per se" is of very little importance.
what is important is YOUR personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
don't get hung up on "religion".

I'm a Christian - pedophilia is disgusting - I don't accept it. People who participate in it should be jailed. (I don't believe in the death penalty - but this comes close!)

You are assuming that Catholics are Christians, and you assume wrong.
The Catholic church is a non-Christian cult that distorts the Word of God.
The Catholic church teaches that Mary was sinless, but God's Word says ALL have sinned, and that includes Mary.

Christians don't accept this and most of the preists that have done these things have been mostly catholic.
