I have had my tongue periced for about 2 1/2 months and its totally healed. I would like to take it out and leave it out for a couple of days. Will it close up if I take it out for that long??

With a tongue stud, you do not have long -- removed it for three hours and you'll never get it back in again.
Only after years can you take it out for greater lengths of time. Good luck!

Tongue rings heal up fast. I had mine for four months and decided I didn't want it anymore. I took it out and just for the hell of it decided to try to put it back in a couple hours later and it had already started to close up.

if you take it out for more then 8hrs, it will be closed, as soon as you take it out, it starts to heal. if you take it out for 2 days, you got 0 chance of getting it back in there. just go and get a spacer to put in it's place. You won't be able to see it but it will keep the hole from closing

More than likely it's gonna close up. Try taking it out for shorter lengths of time until you build up a tolerance for having it out
