I was there in the Air Force 2001-2002. It was a pretty good time...lots of bars and girls and drinking.

Exercise every quarter, but its not so bad. Have fun, just remember 3 things.

1. Korea money is real money
2. Korea police are real police
3. Korean bar girls are a lot smarter than American GIs.

You'll have a blast brother

I was stationed at Camp Humphreys 1991-1992. If you like to drink there are plenty of bars down range from most posts. Shopping is something else that alot of people do, since clothing items are cheap. It is probably a better assignment now than it was when I was stationed there. Family members are now allowed.

I was stationed at Camp Red Cloud, in 1999 - 2000. Even though being away from my family, I had fun. If you go there thinking that you will not like it, you will hate it, there wont be anything to do, etc.. Than chances are that will happen, but if you go there open minded and willing to learn , you should really enjoy it.. Good Luck, and stay away from the "Juicy Girls"

It was good and you always had something to do. I was
near Camp Red Cloud from 1962 to 1963. Had a real good time in Uijongbu. No regrets.
