Is there tax if you order a product online? (bestbuy.com to be more specific)

If the company has any retail stores in your state, they're supposed to charge any sales tax due for your state on online purchases also. I'd guess that Best Buy is pretty much in every state, so they'll probably charge you tax online.

Bestbuy.com will charge sales tax in every state that it has a store....which is probably all of them.

Some retailers are very diligent about collecting taxes others don't follow the rules..The tax their supposed to collect is the tax that applies in the state in which you reside....

it depends in what state your in. some states pursue the sales tax and makes on line vendors collect the tax and some don't. that is why every stale is trying to get congress to pass a law to make on line vendors collect the sales tax in any state that you live in!!!
