Don't lift until your muscles are sore. The soreness in your muscles are caused by acids that will actually eat away at your muscles. Therefore, take longer breaks in between sets to give your muscles time to get oxygen in them again.

Also, high protein foods will transfer better into muscle while working out. A vegetarian diet is the hardest to build muscles with.

Cardio, and weight lifting 3 to 4 times a week

if you have fat allready you have to burn that off aswell as build muscle, I use a manual treadmill an hour enery other day of the week and on the vicea-verca days you can do half an hour or so of doing a weight routeen. go figure out how to find lots of bodybuilding, weightlifting, fitness, muscle, and so forth books at the librarry that has helped me a lot. also I (and you) have to eat verry little startch, sugar, fat, and wheat. ( if you have to loose fat) but also do that a little to help get (ripped). I have lost 45lb of fat and haved gainned lots of muscle (and still going)

Read the book, THE ABS DIET. And get a subscription to Men's Health. The book gives you the knowledge and the magazine arriving monthly keeps you motivated. At least it worked for me.

lift weights and drink protein shakes everyday. This will give you tighter, stronger muscules.

If you drink protein shakes and lift weights with lift heavier weights every other day, this will make you stronger, and make you muscules grow bigger.
