he told me it take alot for him to want to hit a women

what do you think about what he said ?

do you think he is the violent type ? or he is just speaking in general he claims he will not hurt me

i know he jokes with me like saying he throw some gasloine on me and strike a match and he said a bullet will make me understand but he says it in a joking manner

Do not hit him back! Walk away. trust me. It sounds to me like he knows that he has a temper problem. But when have you ever heard that adding fuel to a fire would help to put it out??? You haven't cause that's a lie. If you hit him back, if he strikes you again, to him it was justified. i am anti-abuse. I am pro-woman. But i am no fool. If he is making comments like this. Try to avoid provoking him and help him get help. I have experienced something very simmilar. Please trust me. He is showing signs that he has either previously had a problem with violence or he knows that he has the potential for violent behavior. Try to love it out of him and if you can't, don't get yourself hurt.

I understand what he's saying. He doesn't want to ever hit you, but if he slips up and hit you, then you beat the crap out of him!!! LOL! But all jokes aside, he is basically saying that he loves and respects you too much to hit you.

There is no reason EVER for physical violence in a relationship. It almost sounds like he's giving you a subtle warning. I know I'd be watching his behavior like a hawk. How does he react to stressful situations? everyday life in general? I'm not you but don't become a statistic in a violence against women crime ok?

it was probably just something he said to prove he would,nt expect to get away with it but lets face it,,we like a frisky wrestle but hitting in any relationship is wrong and even if you did hit him back after he hit you the lines of domestic bliss would be moved to compensate for this change in the dynamics of the relationship,,hitting back may seem a good idea on jerry springer but who wants to be a fishwife who can proudly say,,"my man hit me but dont worry,,i gave him as good as he gave me",,,wouldnt you feel proud? didnt think so...........

I think he said in a really dumb way he would never hit a woman and if he did he deserved to get really hurt for doing such a thing. He is just trying to say he would never hit you or hurt in intentionally - he just isn't doing it well.

he is strange since to make that type of jokes doesn't sound anything good but it can be that it is this way the personality of him but your you should be careful it is never known if some of these jokes is made a reality and a misfortune for you

eh i dont really know. But if he said that it sounds like he would consider hitting you. If he said something like "I'll never hit you" or sumthin like that i would believe that he didnt want to. But that fact that he would hit a woman at all shud scare you.

As long as he is just your fiance if he hits you get a new one. This might be taken as a warning flag.
