My boyfriend and I have lived together for a year. We decided that he was going to move out recently, but we are still going to date each other. The girl that he had been talking to who started causing the "problems" we are having has been calling and texting him a lot. He says he only wants to date me, and he just needs some time to "figure out who he is before we get any more serious." He's going to move back with his parents for a little while. I noticed this morning that he had taken the other girl's number out of his contact list on his phone. Should I be worried about this other girl? I really want to work things out with him, and I think that it will work, but I was wondering if he really feels the way he says he does, and all he needs is some time to think. Thanks for your input!!

Does the fact that he removed her number mean anything?

He is either trying to let you down easy, or he is hanging on to you until he decides who he likes more! Do not have sex with him while he is dating other women--and he is. Go about your own life, do the things that need doing, and enjoy things you haven't while he has been underfoot. Don't beg, don't try to win him back.Don't worry about the other girl, you can't change that anyway. He has his own feelings to work out. In the meantime, look around you.....notice all the other men vying for your attention! ;) Afterall, you want and deserve a man that is all into YOU. (Hey if he moved out before cheating, points for him.)

Girl, let me translate that for you. "I want to move out so I can do what I want to do, and still have you on the side. Best believe he will not only be dating you. He deleted the contact info cuz he already know it by heart. Best thing for you to do is to play it cool and not make yourself readily available to him. Do your thing while he "finds himself". I would tell him the only way he could have some more of THIS, is to be commited. Be smart about the situation. Good Luck

I would give him his space but also take my space with it. As far as still dating it sounds like he really wants to date the other girl but don't know how to tell you. Don't set yourself up for that just let him go. Tell him that he can have his space and date other ppl but you as well. See how he feels about that.

I think the is trying to let you down easy. Moving out is the first step then as time goes on he'll grow balls and break it off w/ you. But you said you want to work things out so let he go and do his thing and see what happens.
