First of all, your wording of "red Indians" is commonly viewed as a racist term. The proper term "American Indians" would have been more appropriate.
Now, it's fully understandable to want to have clarification on the movement with the Indians and their land issues with the white man, but you are in desperate need of a serious lesson in tactfulness in order to compose a half decent question that does not sound like an idiot making assumptions they have no clue about?
I cannot judge you because I do not know you, but a word of advice; your questions come out sounding rude and abrasive. I would love to answer a question that incorporated some critical thinking about the history of the American Indians and their land issues with the white man, but a question worded the way you wrote it could be taken so many ways as well as simply offending people. If I was American Indian I would be praying not to loose my temper or let it get to me, but then again, that may be what you are trying to do... get to people.
But besides that, my response to your question is that you can read about the issues of land and how the American Indians were "not" acting selfish in any common text book found in an Elementary School or local library. Those writings in itself can provide an answer to your questions without doubt or excuses. If you still have the same beliefs afterwards, you must not have fully read it or are in some serious denial.
Good luck and God Bless!

I may be completely wrong but I thought that the underlying idealogy of Native American Indian culture was that nobody could own land - it was there for everyone. The idea of fencing bits off and saying that it was a farm or a ranch and that only certain people could have the benefit of it was strange to them. That is why they camped and moved around - to follow the food they wanted and be where the habitat was most suitable for the time of year. They found what they needed to survive without establishing permanent homes. In their eyes the white man was being selfish.
As for moving to Canada - many tribes did live in Canada or spend part of the year there.
Why don't you get out of your tiny cramped box of a mind and see the world from another point of view - you might stop sounding like the uninformed idiot you obviously are.

You must be one of the dumbest people on here. How about this, you share all of your belongings with me, or just give them to me and move. How does that sound. That is mostly what you are saying the Indians should have done. It was their land, and they didn't have to share it with anyone, just like you don't have to share anything you own. You must be an illegal to come up with something as stupid as that question.

It's because the White men taught the Red Indians the meaning of greed. But since the White men are the best at it the Red Indians obviously lost. After all White man still talks with forked tongue.

I have to agree with Bostonian on this one, except for one small detail. I'd ship him to Carstairs, drop him at the railway station and leave him to clamber over the fence to get home. Even Motherwell is far too upmarket for anyone who actually believes what the questioner has asked.
