I'm the blacksheep in my family, and I'm the usual target of insults, jokes and put downs. My parents think I'm really stupid, even if I try really hard to get good grades (never got anything below a B), and my sister just treats me like I'm a retard. Overall, I'm treated like a piece of sh*t in our family.
I'm 14, so coming out is going to be a much later thing, but how and when should I do it? Will my parents and family hate me even more after I tell them? I need advice :(

lol sigh does such a thing as a trustworthy adult exist? If you've seen one, ask them if they know where leprechauns and pixies live. jk, I'm sure some of 'em are out there, but the only one I ever knew was my Grandma... She's pushing daisies now though ..... :(

Here is the thing:

You can come out to your parents when you no longer foresee them

1) feeding you.

2) funding you

3) fathering you.

That way, if they can't accept you as you are at least you've gotten all the goods and the rearing you needed to live a successful adult life.

There is no need in being THAT HONEST and biting the hand that feeds you at the same time.

That is straight foolish and self-defeating.

Welcome to the real world.

All 14 year olds are just as self centered and confused as you are. You are very sensitive and everything gets blown out of proportion. No matter how your family treats you when your 14, it sucks. You are exactly at the age that you go from being a caterpillar to a butterfly. From a child to a young adult. Be patient because over the next few years, you will change a lot. What ever your feelings are to today, it will all change in a year or two. Try to be tolerant of the family. It's not all just about you. Don't be to quick to make up your mind as to who you are.

Firstly,
as you are only 14 things can change with your sexuality so do not be in a hurry. If you are having sexual relationship with anyone please use protection at ALL times. I hope at 14 years old you are not having sex yet though.

Secondly.
You can call hot lines for teenages to get advice and councilling over the phone. You need this because you sound depressed with your family and situation at the moment.

Thirdly.
I am truly sorry you are not treated well at home. Is there someone else you can talk to about things? an auntie, uncle, friend, teacher, anyone???
If there is no one then i think you should really get into contact with life line or a social worker. They can help you with all the issuses you are asking about. you need some time and understanding before you decide to do anything.

Your mother already knows. Just come out and tell your family. What the hell they mess with you now any way. This way it will be out in the open. Do it and get it over with.

Yeah, they will hate you more! So will everyone else! You're already as arrogant as you can get. Blame everyone esle for YOUR problems. If they haven't guessed it already then I would be amazed! I figured it out after your first paragraph!

If you can be honest with yourself then you can be honest with them! Good luck!
