Swiss chocolate usually is milk chocolate - containing a lot of milk (products). Milk actually is not necessary to produce chocolate, so I would say this is really the Swiss way.
And there are many cows in Switzerland giving natural milk...

There are actually better chocolates than the Swiss these days. I like Italian or Ecuadorian myself. Not to advertise - I'm only a customer - but www.worldwidechocolate.com has the best brands from all over the world. They also have an excellent line of baking chocolates from various countries. being vegan, I like the best pure chocolate! Pure cocoa beans, cocoa butter(made from beans not dairy) and no dairy milk, or fats added. just dark and strong smooth taste, maybe liquor flavours..... yummy German ones too....
