my bf love to say that i'm beautiful or an angel, that i'm attractive but she never call me sexy... i then became confused that maybe he's not attracted w/ my body he just love my face. But one time he confessed that he always has trouble w/ his you know---??? that whenever he feels horny without my knowing during the time he talks to me or look at me intensely, he frequently go to the bathroom . i dont know what's that means until my friend told me that maybe my bf finds me sexy even he never told me that, that he was just afraid to tell me bec. im a bit conservative.
So, i think sexy & beautiful are both attractive but in a different way. It's just that sexy is more of the physical appearance of a woman particularly pertaining to body while beautiful is about the whole self of the woman inside out. It's just most guys are more particular in chasing women w/ great body than w/ beautiful, so they rarely use "beautiful" & love to use the word "sexy or hot".

I think guys say sexy, because calling a girl beautiful to her face can be seen as being too heavy, or too romantic (IE, coming on too strong).
Men really don't know where they stand in the world today concerning women, so they play it safe and call a girl sexy.
Men are always haunted by the shadow of rejection, so if a guy reckons a women is sexy I think that could suffice as being called beautiful.

Not all sexy girls are attractive and not all attractive girls are sexy... but you can be both yeah.
When men say you're sexy, it's lust or when they say hot. When they say beautiful, it means inside and out. But you can be either one of those to the same guy at any given moment. It can switch up. A girl can be both sexy and beautiful at the same time also.

Hi,
Being sexy is apealing to a guy on that level. It has nothing to do with beautiful of course when a guy is aroused he doesn't usually worry about the details, beautiful or not so beautiful. In my book sexy is body language. A warm open sensual woman is sexy a stuck up top model is not. You may have a few extra pounds and a curve or two to many but if you are a genuinely warm, friendly open and sensual woman it shows and in my eyes that is true femininity the superficial beauty of a woman is just that, a superficial appraisal of her appearance. But if she exudes confidence and is all that I have said before, the she is, in my books, HOT and SEXY and BEAUTIFUL.

Being sexy is an attitude, not a look. You could be the most beautiful person in the world on the outside, but unless you are comfortable in your own body and with your sexuality, you will never be sexy.
Mick Jagger is very sexy but not attractive.
Overweight people can be extremely sexy.
Marilyn Monroe had both, beautiful and sexy.
It's all about what's going on in your head they makes you sexy.

That is a very difficult question. In my opinion sexy is a combination of things. Sexy is a combo of body language, attractiveness, garments, attitude, verbal language, and actions. Beautiful is generally a combination of make up, body, garments, and shoes generally. Beautiful is also an asthetic judgement. Hot is kind of the gray area between beautiful and sexy.

All of the terms you mentioned are basically interchangeable. Thought they do differ ever so slightly in their meaning, as well as the context that you would normally use them in.
In my experience, "beautiful" would be the most gracious and respectful term, and I wouldn't usually use it for a person whom i didn't actually know. I think that sexy and hot have pretty well the same meaning when used this way. Maybe the guys you know just like using "sexy" instead of "hot"

I think most guys probably worry that "beautiful" might sound corny. Men enjoy the flirtation involved in impressing a woman and he certainly does not want to chase her away. Our aim at telling a woman she's sexy is to impress her. Unfortunately, I think, when men and women were boys and girls and their feelings were less superficial but without the ability to assess what those feelings were, they tried to develop ways to impress each other. Eventually, as maturity sets in, we start to recognize our feelings, even superficial ones, and have developed a repertoire of pick-up lines and hook-ups to address those feelings differently.
Of course some physical attractiveness plays into the sexyness, but there is a lot that makes a woman sexy. Pardon the cliche, but one man's trash is another man's treasure. Men are no different than women in that each one has his own definition of what sexy might be.

Not all beautiful women are sexy. Being sexy is a special thing that almost defies description. Marlyn Monroe knew she was so sexy but she never understood what it was that made he so attractive to me. Most sexy women can not tell you what they do to turn men on.
To me when a girl is described as " hot " it means that she is wet and ready for intercourse.
One man's opinion........... For sure , beauty is in the eye of the beholder !
