I think it could work

Fiancee and I lived 2 1/2 hours drive one way from each other. I would visit on the weekends I wasn't working. After about a year or so I moved down to be closer to him and, after 3 1/2+ years of dating, we are engaged!

Yes you can work!! A friend of mine has been together with this guy for 3 years and they are getting married in Sep. During their whole relationship she was away at school so they only saw each other on the weekend and it worked out for them. Listen to your heart!!

Of course. If your love is strong enough, you can make anything happen. I was seperated from my boyfriend for 2 years while he was in the army, for the first 3 months, we couldnt even talk on the phone, it was strictly letters only. Eventually we got to see eachother about once a month, when he got out, we got married about 1.5 years later. The distance between us, really made us strong and made our hearts grow fonder even though there was a lot of adjustment. Good luck and go for it!

Hi..I think so. The time you spend apart will have you appreciate each other all the more when you are together. Just keep seeing one another as much as possible and be sure with the time you are apart that the trust is not lost.

Yes, of course this could work. Some married people are separated for months due to work or military, and they stay committed and faithful to each other because they love and respect each other. It's hard, but it's possible.

If you're not in love enough now for one of you to make the move to be closer to each other, I don't see how this could work long term.

Well Dolly Parton seems to be doing well at not living with her husband. Depends on your circumstances and why you both live in two different cities and you didn't say if this was going to continue after you marry. In normal circumstances if you live apart, I don't think your marriage would survive. Marriage changes relationships.

Love can move mountains and span infinite distances. If they want it bad enough, it'll work. Just watch and see.
