Depending on your distance from the local broadcast towers you may need an exterior UHF antennae. I have included links to a website that will assist you in determining which antennae type you’ll need and another website with a photo of the most common exterior HDTV / UHF antennae.

Providing the signal you recieve through your current aerial is strong enough you will not need a new aerial, if you cannot get a strong signal maybe try moving the aerial slightly and if that doesn't work, then you may need a new aerial. You are better off going to a local store and expalining your situation as different transmitters sometimes require different types of aerial. (If you are like us and can pick up a signal from 2 transmitters)

website tofind out if you need to get an extra areial you may need to plus you may also need to get an amplifier for the signal first
