Why would a man you've had sex with call you 'sweet'? The man is French. Does that make it not so bad?

Just to answer some questions: it was said after sex but was asking in relation to it's use in response to a best wishes for Christmas text (which is obviously not that noteworthy!).

I don't know about France, but here in the UK it's a compliment. Sweet is the opposite of sour, what can possibly be wrong with that ?

it could means alot of things, but for you to further understand what does he meant for it you have to know the guy better and deeper, cause if his the type of guy who loves to say sweet things to all womens then it just something you must not take seriously but if his someone very expressive with his feelings toward a girl he really likes then thats the beginning of a great relationship

It's a pet name, something someone says to someone else when they like you or maybe it just his way of letting you know what he thinks of you.
Hope this helps.

Sounds to me as if this guy you're having sex with isn't all that "involved" emotionally with you.

'Sweet' may be a personality thing or a taste thing.

Did he give you oral and say that you tasted sweet?

Did you act kindly to him and he thought your actions were sweet?
