TV is a good choice however I would go with an XBR for the better processing and better look.

Now as for the HTIB. That Sony system sucks! Stay away I had one set up in my store and it sounded no better than a cheap maybe 200 dollar system.

Yes the infared is cool if it worked which it did not always. And it really looked great except for the top loading dvd which you then could not put on a shelf. unless it was a 22 inch shelf.

Reconsider that system because honestly I would not pay 200 bucks for it.

For 1500 hundred or even a thousand you could find something much better with great sound.

Check out Mirage or Definitive technolgy for better sound and look into Denon or yamaha for a good receiver.

If you have to have wireless rear speaker which i never recommend, try the Panasonic line. They are all right for sound but really lack on the inputs. Maybe they have improved that part since last i have seen them. They will however sound alot better than the sony system for a fraction of the cost.

Good Luck

Good luck

Go to 3 or more Audio visual shops and ask about the products and then compare for yourself. Ask for better cheaper alternatives.
