I've never even heard of Nontheism. The two branches (I say) are atheism and irreligious, with the former being "against organized religion" (or all religion in general), while irreligious is basically "disinterested in religious topics".

Then there are watered-down versions of religion, like agnostic, which essentially says that the person in particular has not been shown proof for or against a certain religious persuasion; Deism is, in short, opposed to organized religion and instead holds that you find God in nature, not Holy Books. There's tons of stuff.

Nontheism covers a range of concepts regarding spirituality and religion which do not include the idea of a deity — a theistic God or theistic gods. It can be applied to atheism (both strong and weak) and agnosticism, as well as certain Eastern religions including Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. It also has links and similarities to Christian existentialism

According to my Greek, there is absolutely no difference there. A- stands for denial, for "no". In each case, both expressions are used to show denial of God, but this contradicts its self. how can you deny something you do not know? If you know god, can you deny Him? and if you do not know Him, and you express your belief of A-theism (or Non-Theism), isn't this belief a religious one? (since it can not be proved?) think. next

An atheist is a sensible person who has no need for friends or strangers trying to convert them.

A Nontheist is a confused agnostic who is desperate for attention and wastes everybody's time asking questions like this.
