I'm wondering if you know this guy in real life? If not then why not tell him? I mean, whats the worst that can happen? Although it wont be a good idea if you want to suddenly meet him... anyways, see how it goes when you tell him, if he doesnt feel the same way, just laugh it off as a joke.

Tell him you like him and make a date to go skating together. Hopefully you live close enough so that you won't have to buy expensive airplane tickets.
