if your hair is greasy, you don't want to put conditioner on it. just use a good shampoo and maybe a leave in treatment. good luck!

My hair sounds like yours, i have quite greasy roots but dry ends, i tend to keep the conditioner just to the ends, don't massage your scalp too much if it is greasy this will just stimulate the sebaceous gland, which will produce more oil, try to leave the roots and concentrate on the ends, i use a shine spray on my hair, again avoiding the roots though, the spray not only adds shine but it makes it looks healthy, at the same time as conditioning it! the product i use is called shine mist by Joshua Galvin, you could always try the serum too, i used them both and my hair is near on perfect now!! I love the stuff and the added benefits are it smells like perfume too, the amount of comments i receive about how nice my hairs smells is phenomenal.. Good luck for 2007 ... all the best

Does it have to be a leave in conditioner? My hair is similar and i think that may make it worse. Try Elvive nutri-gloss mask you leave it in for one minute after shampooing and conditioning. It makes hair shiny and less dry without increasing greasiness.

I only use products that don't contain sodium laureth sulphate. They tend to not dry out hair as much as they don't contain harsh ingrediets. Most health shops sell them. JASON, Weleda, faith in nature are good brands, check out this site, they have a great range(free P&P in UK). See which one is right for your hair type.

OK try this one.
massage your hair with any hair oil on your day off.it keeps your hair healthy and scalp in good condition.
Use a normal shampoo , the ones from Tesco for 90p or so with alo vera.
try not to use conditioner.
lor use herbal shampoo as its better for the hair.
and yes most important dont eat much oily food or fried food.
