How Do i get over clostrephobia
I want to get over it
I am not scared of the dark just tight spaces how do i get over this any suggestions
I have had it about 3 years

After 3 years of this, I would advise medical help.
Don't be embarrassed. Seems ever one has some handicap. I'm sure you do want to be free of this problem..I wonder what caused this problem to show itself 3 years ago ? What happened ?
My daughter used to be very fearful of heights and could not bear to use outdoor stairs where she could see through the steps. Although she had this great fear, as soon as she became of age she became a United Air Line Stewardess and made a career of it. So without medical help, she bit the bullet so to speak and overcame her fear of height in exchange for her life dream to be a stewardess. You can try to put mind over matter and I feel sure you have to some degree in 3 years. Anyway good luck and I will remember you in my prayers. Happy New Year to you !!

its simple. make a small space at your home very comfortable.hang out in there with a friend or a nice book. your subconcios behavior is noticing this and informing your concious behavior because your not comfortable with the space. let you brain know its ok. so fill a closet with pillows and blankets. pop some corn. watch good fellas with a friend. need one call me! lol

Phobias develop out of acute anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders require treatment by a psychologist. Get yourself a referral, hon.

Maybe you could find one of those pyschologists that runs a de-sensitize therapy group. Much like the fear of flying workshops,fear of spiders,snakes...etc.
