When one party is not that into another, neither can be good.
The relationship will never take off or if it does, will never last, as it has a weak foundation.
Relationships that are two sided, last longer and make the trip worth while.

I wouldn't prefer either. If two people are in a relationship then they should both love each other equally. There shouldn't be any doubt about the way you feel about someone or how much you love them. I wouldn't prefer either of these options.

neither.. you can't call it love unless you both love each other at the same level.... otherwise you can call it admiration or liking can fade away any moment
besides neither any of it would work....think...if you are with some one you like but he doesn't like you back, you will be hurt and sad all the time.........when you are with some one likes you but you don't like him, you won't be comforted or happy

I doubt it's impossible to not have both at least once in your life but...
You love him but he doesn't love you.
I think I can live without being loved as long I have someone to love.
