both are same.if the in the pod very young stage they are called and used as vegetable in salads etc
When once the seed is fully grown and pod becomes seed u use only the seeds called as soyaseeds or soy beans

When the FDA says something is bad for you, don't eat it. Partially hydrogenated oil of any kind is bad for you. Soybean oil is bad for you. Expeller-pressed, organic soybean oil might not be bad for you but you don't know how it is processed. Read the label. Canola oil is not too good for you either. There are cereals out there without these ingredients, but you have to read the label. I don't buy cereals with any oils in them.
