i use the stopper and keep it in the refrigerator.
how long will it last? and how to keep it last longer?

can u keep wine and unspoil it in teh freezer? sounds stupid since i never have heard of anyone doin this, lol.

The best way to save the unused portion of wine is... to stop being a light-weight and drink the rest of it.

However, if you must... DO NOT FREEZE IT... this will only separate the wine and it will taste like crap. Put a stopper in it and refrigerate for about 4 or 5 days max. And if you intend for it to go longer, you need to purchase a vacuum/pump cap, which pumps some the air out of the bottle for a little longer lasting wine. Or the BEST, is a system that you spray inert gas into the bottle as you cap it which removes ALL of the oxygen and will make it last for several weeks.

Remember it is air that spoils wine. once opened, it's best to use a vacuum seal. I would never recommend putting wine in the freezer, and only white wine should be really chilled. Red wine is best kept somewhere around 68 degrees

If you occasionally cook with wine, you can freeze it in ice cube trays or in small amounts in freezer bags. Great to pop in stews or chilli etc.

you can buy a plastic wine sealer at most dollar stores.
