theres this guy i work with.i can't stop thinking about him and talking to him.if i hear a song it reminds me of him.i love his voice and his laugh.his laugh i could just listen to over and over.my heart beats a million times faster when i see him,i feel happy when i talk to him and he talks to me.i see no one else while i'm talking to him and it's sometimes like theres no one else in the room when he's talking to me.When we look at eachother it's sometimes like he knows what i am thinking.He cares about what i have to say and what i am doing in my life.it's not like i stalk him or anything like that.Do you think i'm in love or just infatuated and do you think i should just go for it?

You are infatuated. But that isn't a bad thing. I don't care what anyone tells you, you don't fall in love instantly. Love is something that develops over time after you really get to know a person. Infatuation is that magic period that last until you fall in love. You know what I am talkin bout. It is the time when you can't keep your hands off each other, when you are always together, talkin for hours, always constantly thinking of the other person. Then it ends and you either realize that their is no way you want to be without this person, or they are not right for you and you drag it out till it finally ends. Don't get upset though. What you have is a good friendship and a great foundation for a relationship. Go for it. Can you think of any reasons not?

Sounds like you're in love. I think you should go for it, see where it leads, if you don't, you will spend your whole life wondering. When I met my bride to be some 30 years ago, I was like that with her, and terrified to making a fool out of myself. I have been happily married for 26 years now, good thing the only smart thing I did was take the "leap of faith." My daughter was like that, agonizing, now she's happily married. Hey, if it doesn't work out, that fine, at least you'll know. I mean at least you will have an answer, maybe he's the one, maybe an infatuation, maybe he's a jerk, who knows? I think it depends on how well you know the guy. If this is just a guy you work with and you have like no closer relationship with him, rather than on the professional level, there might be a sense of infatuation. I don't think that you are in love with this guy, it might seem like it because he makes you feel good but you can't just love someone because of the reasons you might think you love this guy.

Depends how long you've known him. Whether it be love or infatuation (even though most likely infatuation) it sounds like you're having pretty strong feelings, I say just go for it and maybe it'll turn into love.

I think you are infatuated with him,
But...
If you like him and you think he likes you then ask him out for a coffee or a movie. I dont think you can fall in love with someone unless you get to know them outside of work.
If after you guys go out a few times and you seem to hit it off, get to know his likes and dis likes,
Remember getting to know someone does not mean sleeping with someone. You can fall in love even with out sex but you really need to spend time together. If it does not work out then at least you gave it a go.

Considering you aren't in a relationship with him, what you're feeling isn't love, you don't "know" him that well to be in love. You're infatuated.
