Contrarily to what some ppl could say, do no longer uninstall IE7, till u overwrite it with an IE6 setting up. Uninstalling IE thoroughly could reason problems on your residing house windows working gadget. i could in all probability propose u revert to IE6 because of the fact the 1st step. Then attempt using yet another browser. do no longer hear to those that say "swap to firefox, this is the terrific." nicely this is a exceedingly subjective remark, this is like asserting "consume chocolate ice cream, this is the terrific." besides the shown fact that Firefox is likewise my own prominent, in straightforward terms you could tell what browser u like terrific, so this is a itemizing of the particularly some extra time-honored techniques to IE on the residing house windows platform: - Mozilla Firefox - Opera - Netscape - Mozilla (referred to now as SeaMonkey) There are others much less time-honored, yet those are those I propose u attempt out if u desire to get far flung from IE. And remember, interior the utility international, u shouldn't enable human beings rigidity utility on you (like Microsoft does), you should be using what you like. P.S. i exploit IE7 as my third browser of selection (Firefox being the 1st and Opera being the 2nd) and so a techniques, i haven't had too lots subject with it. characteristic-clever i think of this is extra suitable than IE6, and that they are catching up with the different browsers, yet I nonetheless sense this is lagging in the back of particularly on information superhighway standards (you will word if u do information superhighway progression). malicious program-clever, nicely i think of u've experienced it on ur very own. have relaxing experimenting with new issues

Click start
then click Set Program Access and defaults
a new window will appear
in the top left of that window click Change or Remove Programs
then just scroll down and remove IE7.
It will then automatically go back to IE6.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

Your favorites are on the left under the yellow star, and home, view feeds. print, page and tools icons are on right just below search engines. It is a fine program. Forget foxfire, a mess of trouble.

I had problems and uninstalled but went back to it as I like the layout. So far, this time round has been ok. All the problems it caused have resolved themselves - however, this time I have switched off the phishing web check. Coincidence maybe?

Firefox is the only way to go.

Internet explorer is only needed in rare cases where Firefox doesn't handle some scripts

I know exactly what you're talking about. I ditched it for IE6 myself. I don't understand why they'd release a program with so many bugs.
