It is not practical to say if Muslims accept jesus, Islam will be peaceful, because Jews don't accept Jesus of christianity, yet still judiasm is peaceful. so does buddhism and to some extent hindu. of course I m talking nowadays, so I hope nobody will come up and talk about history.

MY previous details, was about "accept jesus in christian perspective", u must understand MUSLIMS that christians belief in Jesus is very different from Islamic story about jesus. while jesus is human and one of the prophets to muslims. Jesus is the only savious and God to Christians. the goal is different too. let's get that fact clear and educated.
My agenda is: to educate, open discussion and find answers to problems. sound big, but we need peace for our children and future and our countries.
I m ex-muslim and do not need to submit evidences, I hope muslims stop this CD of accusing others of lying. and let's put trust in each other if you really wanna peace.
I would put my picture and info, but you guys know very well what Islam will do to me, because I m ex-muslim if I exposed my info. u know guys all that. so let's not talk about Islam as peaceful, unless removing these "hidoods" and "Rada" and be safe on ourselves.

btw, I'm ex Muslim too.
You may agree with me that although most of our countrymen are religious, though they are peaceful.
The problem is with the Islamic leaderships.
There were few incidents in the history when brains defeated blind-imitations.

According to me, I think the most important 2 actions the world can take are:
1. We create (Yes, CREAT) modern, moderate, broad thinking preachers who can attract the masses with their speeches (masses loves speeches) and lead them like shepherd leading his sheep to modernity and tolerance.
2. Solve the problem of Palestine: By doing so we will deprive the Islamic political movement from their main and only source of power which gives them a lifeline.
btw, solving this problem will equally breakup and wreck most Arab national parties who give no solution to Arab's problem but wining all the time about this conflict.

Islam itself is a peaceful religion. The problem is those who distort Islam for their own agendas. I think many things need to happen for things to be peaceful again. Outside governments need to stay out of their countries and stop telling them how to live. All this does is cause hatred and violence. When a Muslim is attacked they have every right according to the Qur'an to defend themselves. Being invaded by other countries could easily be seen as being attacked. I also think that many Muslims need to relearn the basic teachings of Islam. Like all religions, many people begin to lose focus on their goals and forget what their religion stands for, which is generally peace, understanding, love and tolerance.

I am sorry to say the only way I see is for the rest of the world INCLUDING Muslims, who do not adhere to the tenents of fundementalism, to kill off the radicals, and keep killing them until they fold..I figure 30 yrs and even then we will have crazy bastards popping up after that. my friend is peaceful religion and it forbids fighting the others if they dont fighting muslims. but some radical muslims have misread the teachings of islam and consequently they come up with these violent actions

it was never a destructive religion, Islam is a religion in its own right and should be respected like any other religion. it is arrogant and selfish to follow the stereotypes because of a few radicals within the religion
