Israel is a secular democracy and the richest and most powerful country in the Middle East, but how long can it really hold out against hundreds of millions of Muslims who want it wiped off the face of the earth? It's already got a million disloyal Arab citizens who refuse to be identified with it, and they will be two million by 2020. It's bordered by Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, and if the Palestinians get East Jerusalem, Gaza, and the West Bank, it'll be sandwiched between even more Arab territory. Its goods and universities are boycotted, its passports aren't recognized, and some Arab countries are still technically at war with it. Its strongest ally is the U.S. whose economy is weakening. A lot of people are worried about the well-being of this beautiful successful country and if I do convert to Judaism I know I'm going there but what do you really think can be done about Israel's uncertain future?

If you have something against Israel please don't talk about it here. I need relevant answers.

A Jewish professor/diplomat once told me, "Don't worry about it. Israel can take care of herself!"
Isn't that exactly what the Bible tells us? Jews have been in diasporas since Joseph went down to Egypt (or since Abraham left Ur). The Bible tells us about leadership and wisdom -- leaders must put their people ahead of themselves and we must all strive for wisdom.
Isn't it a miracle that Judaism has survived to this day? God tells us to have courage, to evaluate situations, and to go forward and take action!
“To be a Jew is to be commanded to take actions because they are right, not for material gain or comfort. Had Abraham wanted tranquility and prosperity, he would have carried on his father’s idol business. To be a Jew is to open one’s tent on all four sides so that any stranger in need can enter from every direction. To be a Jew is to believe that the world can be redeemed. To be a Jew is to be carried by the current of the ancient Jewish river that keeps on flowing.” Arthur Hertzberg.

Yes, Israel has an uncertain future (but if you didn't want religion mixed in with this, why did you post it here? Maybe just a 'slip of the mouse', I suppose). Well, from Israel's point of view, what can be done is to get rid of their enemies... which they keep working at. From my point of view, I don't know. Hatred of Israel is completely ingrained in most Middle East countries. There has been conflict between the Jews and the Muslims since the days of Abraham- and a 'blood feud' that goes that deep likely will never be resolved peacefully. I'd like to say that if Israel just backed down, adopted a 'live and let live policy' all would be better, but that is unrealistic. They'd be obliterated so fast... I don't think there is a peaceful resolution.

Any one who says that the future of Israel is uncertain is wrong. Israel has a certain future, some bright the other is jinx. Well, Israel is going to complete the building of the racist seperation wall, will kill many Palestinians and make them immigrate. Israel will seize the entire west bank (it's already theirs now). I'm not sure that Israel will establish " big Israel" that state which borders are from river Nile to river Furat in Iraq. But maybe they will have that state someday. The economy of Israel has nothing to do with United states economy. The Jews have enough money to buy the world we're living in, I mean that they can leave USA to another country and make it powerful one to have its support. After that, I don't know when...... The Palestinians will wipe out Israel. "Days are countries" or "countries are days" Proverbs....mean that countries are like days, sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy. There will be a stormy day for Israel, someday.
Sounds great........ your idea of living in Israel....... it's nice to live there, especially on the shore...... Israel will give you money and home .... all you have to do is to go there!!

Well exactly US economy is weakening and I seriously doubt that Israel, without the millions of dollars and without the weapons US is sending,is going to last long...And even IF US remains as strong as it is today, sooner or later the oil in the Middle East is going to end...and than US won't have any interests in there, therefor it won't have any interest in keep funding Israel...I really don't see a bright future for Israel...
Creating Israel there was a big mistake,it was not a solution for the Jews, nor for the Palestinians...I honestly don't believe Israel is going to last much longer in the Middle East and I don't think that there is something someone can do about it...Iran is becoming stronger and they will be the ones who are going to control the Middle East...whether we like it or not...

Most of main-stream Christians would say that Israel is Gods protective people. They actually lost that privilege when they rejected Gods son. But God in his wonderful mercy, has a new nation in the bible called the Israel of God. This is a nation of spirit minded followers that follow bible laws and principles. They come not from one particular nation but form all over the world. The fleshly nation of Israel is like all the other nations, they belong to Satan. I say that because it is Satan that is the god of this world. Until God allows Jesus to set matters straight.

Israel's future has already been told in the Bible. It is God's country and the Jews are God's chosen people. Things will be hard in Israel, but in the end she will prevail.
