2,006 years from now what do you think the worlds religious view will be?
Heres my vision

future son "daddy why did people use to believe in god and heaven?"

future dad "well son, people in the past were not very keen on the idea that man could not live forever so they created a way in which every man could believe they would exist for eternity, now that we can all live to be 250 years old, no one really cares anymore."

one more Q. Do I actually have to tell you people when I make a joke? because usually only 1 or 2 of you seem to understand my Atheist sense of humor

God only promises us this moment. In 2,006 years from now I will be in Heaven, I will have seen the face of God, hugged Jesus, and been reunited with my loved ones. Here's a little something for all the atheist out there to think about...If you don't believe there is a God, when you die, you better hope your right!

if we go back 2006 years from now and compare, we see lot of advances at present. In terms of religion 2006 years back people believed and followed the philosophies of Kings who ruled the country and who had power.

Similarly 2006 years from now there would be more advances in technology, the way people think etc. There might be less importance given to religion, idol worship etc. as people become more aware about science and find better ways to lead their lives.

Belief in god will remain as long as human mind comes across questions for which it cannot find answers. There might be some new practices/religions introduced and some might have been destroyed based on who is the super power of the world and what the super power believes about religion.

However, I wish that the mutual respect for people in the world increases as we humans become more educated.

but have you thought that instead of the son in the future saying daddy why did people use not believe in God, that he may instead ask why didn't they believe in God?
Answer from dad: well son, people in those times couldn't see the truth because at that time the devil was blinding them with his lies lies(2Corinthians4:4) Son but daddy how could the possibly not see, that God does exist and see his creation?
Well son they most probably didn't want to believe and that is why Satan had them in the better position to blind them! But they found out the truth in the end when God showed himself to all non believers, but by that time it was too late for them to find him, daddy why would they go to that length and miss out on all the blessings that we have from our God today? I don't know son, maybe it is because they thought that they were to intelligent to believe in God and therefore felt that in this way they would not be answerable to God. But they were wrong daddy, yes son they were wrong, they ere not very intelligent then daddy were they?Well son they had the belief that they wanted to have, and it seems that is all that mattered to them! I hope you see the humour there too, but at least there is some truth in that also, peace I wish for you
