The bible says to Test the spirits to see if they are from God of Not.

Usually its too late when you find out. Angels take any form they like, assuming they even have one at the time. Monsters can be shapeshifters, but are usually pan-dimensional, or physical manifestations of of a non corporeal entity. Most of the local , tangible kind, (according to lore) have been eradicated over the centuries. So the critters either change shape, portal thru from nowhere, or can 'turn to mist'. Easiest way to tell them apart. If it smiles and goes away, angel. iIf it smiles and then proceeds to possess, or eat you...monster.

Angels really would give glory to God, and I'm sure use his name.
Demons are mimickers of God and his ways. The main difference is that an angel does not accept worship in any way.
hope that helps. But persons in modern time probably do not consult with angels. we have the bible as Gods instrument of communication. But because we are in the end times, we may have to put up with demons or persons under their influence.

Angels have pretty white doves wings and a golden halo. Monsters have big evil eyes horns a long pointed forked tail and a trident and they are all red. You can't miss them. xx

Angels are are God's property. Monsters, on the other hand, are not even on the spectrum, they are fictional creatures like vampires unicorns and eskimos...well...maybe not eskimos.

ask for a picture ID, or look their back for the tag, if it said "made in GK (god kingdom)" it is angel, and if it is "made in SK (Satan Kingdon)" it is monster. but then you run in little problem, cuz sometimes maybe written "made in China". and now you have to contact the company that produce it, if the company is real.
