that's a lot of stuff man.

First, according to the bible a soul is a living thing, human and animal alike,
spirit, well spirit is angel or heavenly being, including God. Can also mean a persons attitude/motives and so on
Hell according to historical texts, it is a place of burning and suffering, on the bible although it is meant as a grave not a place for suffering, the underworld is a religious teaching not from the bible.

Rapture, well your comments below that question seem to have Jehovah Witness theory, which may be more accurate than mainstream Christians looking at Israel and the year 1948. It makes more sense that God would choose persons to be in heaven and then have a purpose. Of course they would rule over the rest of the population on the earth as God first purposed.

1914 is an important year, it full fills the year in the book of Daniel, from 607 BC to 1914 as ending the years of the Gentiles and beginning the end of times.

Persons without knowledge of God, have a opportunity when God resurrects righteous persons and UN-righteous person. So actually God will give everyone a chance to make a decision.

King James version is not the only translation, although it is one of the most common, It has itself made changes, like the new NIV version totally removing Jehovah out of the bible entirely.

If as you say all the teachings were wrong, then there will be many who will die and be none the wiser but will have led better lives than most and made a bigger dofference while alive. Those who chose not to believe it in the first place wont get the last laugh because they will be dead too and will not have any way to taunt the rest of us. I however, believe in God, rapture, heaven and hell and judgement. So I will keep on doing what I should.

There are those who tell you that if you do not believe as they do that you will go to Hell. (Hades is Greek for the grave, a hole in the ground.) Ever notice that the Rapture only includes those of a particular religion or belief? How loving are the bumper stickers that say their car will be unmanned when the Rapture comes? Does that sound like the work of an all loving God? Do you believe in your heart that God is not that cruel? Then you must consider that organized religion and Christianity may be wrong and have another agenda. You must consider that the Bible is not the only word of God.

The books of the Bible were chosen to further the Catholic church. Any books that contradicted them were called heresy. In Genesis, God said, "Let US make man(kind) in OUR image." Why would they have created man and woman if both of God's personages were male? Do you really believe that a loving God created woman so she could become man's helper or slave? All books of feminine divinity were removed or thrown out in order to achieve male superiority and villianize the female, beginning with Eve. But remember, Adam outright disobeyed God, Eve was deceived through lies. So why is she the bad guy and Adam gets to rule her? Aren't we only responsible for what we know? If Adam knew the truth and disobeyed, and Eve was just fooled, shouldn't Adam be the one who could not be trusted? Does that sound loving, or does it sound like some woman hater trying to achieve power through fear of God? God is all love and therefore cannot possess human emotions such as envy, jeolousy and spite.

God the Father is the universe. We are but tiny cells that help to make up his body. That is how God is in us and we in Him and why when we do for others we are doing for God. Mother God is the emotional side that helps us throughout life. She is the one who answers our prayers. We experience so that the Father can experience. The Holy Spirit is their love that is given to us and performs miracles. You might enjoy expanding your understanding so that all you believe does not come from one source or from other people. A Gnostic is a seeker of knowledge. The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels is a very good book and explains about the 52 lost scrolls found in Nag Hammadi, Egypt. They include letters from Thomas and James. The url below is an article that may give you some different perspective to consider, thereby allowing you to find other possibilities in your heart. The questions you ask are fair questions and hard to get straight answers from in Christianity. Do not believe in their vengeful, angry God (all human traits not possible in an all loving Godhead). That deity is not a God of Love. Please read the article and then the book. Deepak Chopra has written many very good books about God. Quantum physics gives some exciting possibilities if you can understand it. Open your mind to the true love that is God and you will find answers to your questions that make sense. I believe in Christ but tend to believe that all mankind has the same destiny as him, to be with God as their children when we leave this earth and return Home. We are only here, as in a school, to learn the hard lessons taught in such a difficult environment. Our home, to which we will return, is with God on the other side. Not in some heaven where we play harps but back to our real lives in an amazing place. (By the way, man is a different species than Angels and cannot therefore become Angels as some religions want you to believe: in Job, the Angels shouted for joy at the creation of mankind). Seek the truth and you will see that there is so much more than what the Bible tells you. You will see God as all love. God leaves no one out that wants in.

Find love in truth,
Diane

You probably cherish your right to believe whatever you wish to believe. So does almost everyone else. By exercising this right, earth's six billion inhabitants have produced an amazing diversity of beliefs. Like the variations in color, shape, texture, taste, smell, and sound that we find in creation, differing beliefs often add interest, excitement, and enjoyment to life. Such variety can, indeed, be the spice of life.-Psalm 104:24.
BUT there is a need for caution. Some beliefs are not only different but also dangerous. Early in the 20th century, for example, some people came to believe that Jews and Freemasons had plans to "disrupt Christian civilization and erect a world state under their joint rule." One source of this belief was an anti-Semitic tract entitled Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. The tract alleged that the plans included advocating excessive taxation, promoting armament production, encouraging giant monopolies so that 'Gentile wealth could be destroyed in one blow.' Allegations also included manipulating the education system so as to 'turn Gentiles into unthinking beasts,' and even constructing underground railways to join capital cities so that the Jewish elders could 'quell any opposers by blowing them sky-high.'
These, of course, were lies-designed to inflame anti-Semitic feelings. 'This preposterous fiction,' says Mark Jones of the British Museum, 'spread abroad from Russia,' where it first appeared in a newspaper article in 1903. It reached The Times of London on May 8, 1920. More than a year later, The Times exposed the document as a fake. In the meantime, the damage had been done. 'Lies like these,' says Jones, 'are hard to suppress.' Once people accept them, they produce some very jaundiced, poisonous, and dangerous beliefs-often with disastrous consequences, as the history of the 20th century has shown.-Proverbs 6:16-19.
Belief Versus Truth
Of course, it does not take deliberate lies to develop mistaken beliefs. At times, we just misread things. How many people have met untimely deaths doing something they believed was right? Then again, often we believe a thing simply because we want to believe it. One professor says that even scientists "often fall in love with their own constructions." Their beliefs becloud their critical judgment. Then they may spend a lifetime in vain trying to shore up mistaken beliefs.-Jeremiah 17:9.
Similar things have happened with religious beliefs-where immense contradictions exist. (1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 4:3, 4) One man has deep faith in God. Another says that the man is only "weaving faith out of moonshine." One maintains that you have an immortal soul that survives death. Another believes that when you die you cease to exist, totally and completely. Obviously, conflicting beliefs like these cannot all be true. Is it not the course of wisdom, then, to make sure that what you believe actually is true and not simply what you want to believe? (Proverbs 1:5) And yes it is very important to know the whole truth, just to illustrate if you are going to drink some water and you have ten cups of water standing on a table and you know that they have poison in them but only one of them is without poison just plain water, would you then just pick any cup and go ahead and drink it? It is this way with erronious beliefs they can lead to poison also, so, as I said it is very important to get to the bottom of things and find out the whole truth it can mean our life to be either saved or lost!! Some of the things in your question are false doctrine, I can say that because I have done research to get to the truth in the Bible and found them to be so!The Bible even says that we must worship God in spirit and truth there is something else other than going to heaven and not all people go to heaven(Mathew5:5)I didn't have the space to answer all your questionsbut I can give you the, if you email me all that you want answered from the Bible not my opinion!

You are very confused aren't you. I see you are the way you keep taking every thing out of context. Deer just accept Jesus Christ as your savior know that he died for your sins and that he is coming back to redeem you. You can forget all the rest it is all crap. "Surely I come quickly," saith the Lord. The very last words of the Lord. The rapture will be upon you for he will come like a thief in the night. xx

All people have right and wrong written on their hearts, and a need to get back to God too. They can deny it, try to be the master of their own universe, and God will let them. Or they can realize that they are flawed on their own, are seperated from God and need a savior. Exactly how they will be held accountable is up to God. He does say to whom much is given much will be expected. But let me be clear, YOU have been given much.

You don't have to believe in the rapture to go to heaven.
You don't even have to believe in the trinity to go to heaven.
You do have to believe Jesus died for your sins and was risen and now sits at the right hand of God to go to heaven.

Romans 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The question is not very clear but... if we were all taught the same some would question it and some would not and the current mess would resurface in no time.
