NO, 30 is not old... and I am not saying this as an elder, I am 25; however, It all depends on how you look at yourself. If you are 30, and you constantly look at yourself as 'old' you're going to act old and age faster. 30 yrs. is your prime, friend, live it up. You are young enough to go out every night, yet mature enough to make rational decisions. In my opinion, 30-35 is the perfect age. You can change your career goals without severe consequences. You can decide to marry (or not). You still have time to have children (or not). You can still invest your life savings in thermal underwear if that's your passion. You have your entire 'responsible' life in front of you. This is only the beginning. Hold on.

If you are asking if you are young enough to date an 18 year old, the answer is no.

If you are asking if you are young enough to be physically competitive in sports, that depends on your physical condition.

If you are asking if you are at the point where you should start thinking about building a family, IMO, that kind of thing should never be planned but allowed to happen naturally.

If you are asking if you are too old to enjoy life, the answer is "hell no!"

20 is young. 30 is young with better knowledge. 40 is young with new opportunities. 50 is young with a better sense of appreciation. 60 is young with reflection. 70 is young with a lifetime of wisdom.

yes , thats still relatively young. The thirties are a wonderful time in life. You are stable enough not to tear yourself up about who you are but young enough to make changes if you want. You'll be coming into the most prosperous years of your life, physically most 30 somethings feel good and you can have sex almost as often as you like. Enjoy!

Youth is a state of mind and not a state of body. Youth is about exuberance and effervescence. It is about a desire to change themselves and the world around. So we can be youthful at any age, and no matter what might be the state of our physical self, it is all matter of our spirit. It is the spirit of youth that matters eventually.

Age has nothing to do with maturity or depth of character which rarely comes with growing years, it comes if at all with our power to observe our life experience and learn from them rather than letting them pass by us.

No one ever matured without handling tough challenges and instances of self recovery when we are forced to see who we really are. In the truest sense of the word we are only as mature as we desire to be, as growth truly depends on our intent for it.

Having said that we can be evolved and yet be playful and innocent, which incidentally is the mark of a true evolved soul who retains his childhood charm and exuberance of youth right till their death bed.

Rarely do growing years translate into growth in wisdom or depth of character and inner strength, which occurs when we get to face life changing experiences that give us only two options, either evolve or perish.

So, we can be an adult at ten and still not be one at sixty, it all depends on our intent for growth and the level of our self-awareness.

You are only as young or as old as you feel. I am thirty plus and get told all the time I look like I am in my twenties. It is because I take care of myself in the gym and I have very good grooming habits. Laughter will also make you appear young. I hope you feel as young as I do.
