There is no clear answer to this however what can be said is that until about one thousand years ago holy men did take wives and partners. They were effectively regular guys with special jobs yeh! It is thought therefor that christ did have brothers and sisters and indeed maybe had children himself by Mary Magdelene. Afterall on this earth he was first and foremost a man. Very special(divine) but human none the less. I believe all holymen should be permmited to take a family if they so wish and weed out the perverts who prey on children due to a vow of celebicy they cannot maintain especially these days with so much stimulus from all media forms that do impact cultures and sexual behaviour.
Does it not sound reasonable that Mary and Joseph had normal and healthy sexual relations within marraige and had more children?.
And i like to think anyway that we all share brother and sisterhood being Human. I hope that helps. My friend is a theology proffessor and is open to this opinion.

S T India - Have you read the Bible? There are numerous passages which make it clear that Jesus had a family. I can find no reference in the Bible to the continual virginity of Mary.
Yes, Jesus had blood brothers and sisters. If these siblings were half brothers and sisters from Jospeh's previous marriage why did they not accompany Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem during the census? Why did they not go to Egypt with their parents when Herod was killing Isrealite children?
Those that refuse to believe what is plainly and clearly written in the Bible cannot claim to be Christians, but are instead following the teachings of men.

According to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus had at least four brothers who survived into the time when he was an adult. In Mark's Gospel, when Jesus goes to Nazareth to speak in the Synagogue the people in the crowd say to him, "Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon?". They also say, "Are not his sisters here with us?" So there are at least two sisters and possibly more.

Yes.
The James who wrote the book of James in the New Testament, is reputed to be the blood brother of Jesus.
And when Jesus says whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother, is said right after His mother and brothers arrive outside a place He was at, with a crowd around Him in a circle (Mark 3:31).
Although, this is not believed among Roman Catholics, but is, generally, among Protestant denominations.

Jesus never had a "flesh brother or sister". Virgin Mary had only one child: Jesus the Christ.
However, the gospels mention in several places the "brothers and sisters of Jesus" mentioned below. All of them were not "flesh brothers or sisters", and none of them were natural brothers or sisters, but brothers and sisters of religion, or relatives, children of another parents: However this fact creates confusion or misunderstanding in many good Christians

I watched an interesting program last night on channel 4. That's one of many countless theories that he had 4 brothers, 2 sisters, aunts, uncles cousins, the whole lot! - And maybe they all sat down to Christmas Dinnner complete with turkey and mince pies! The Orthodox priests all said that they were the children of Joseph from a previous marriage. I don't know, its possible. That's the whole mystery isn't it - the human nature and the divine nature of Christ. If he did have a real human family, I don't think that should affect anyone's faith.

There are several references to brothers and sisters in the New Testament. We cannot know for certain whether they were half brothers and sisters or cousins or whether they were children of a previous marriage of Joseph. However, none of this matters, it is mere detail, it does not detract from whom Jesus was/is.
