My best friend of 9 years are no longer talking and it's been 4months now since we haven't spoken. But her sister keeps calling my cell phone and we were never friends. When her sister calls i never pick up and she leaves me voicemail messages asking me to call her back but I never call because to me that's weird. Why her sister calling me instead of her? What do you think she wants to say???

maybe she is wanting to try and sort it out as she sees it is a sad thing that two best friends aren't talking.
Maybe she sees that neither of you are going to humble yourself and ring first

Why don't you just answer your phone and find out. It could be your friend is using her sister as a go-between to try to patch things up with you. Or maybe her sister has news about your friend that you need to know. It could be anything. Go ahead call her back and find out.

Can it really hurt to pick up the phone and see what she wants. Maybe she has some information that your friend is really sorry and wants to talk but just can't take that step. If this is really your best friend, what happened that was so bad you have not talked for four months. Not relevant to the question, but just a question.

Well is her sister like way younger or something? If you were friends with her that long then maybe her sister thinks of you as a sister maybe you should call her and see whats up
