Don't eat food that contain iodine such as prawns because some people will flare up. Drink lots of water to hydrate your body and skin. Try not to touch them or else you'll spread germs and end up with even more pimples. Wash your face twice a day, if your skin feels dry right after you finished cleaning it means that the product isn't right for you. Find one that isn't so strong if it it.
Good Luck !!!

Actually it's very difficult to clear acne with food alone. Especially if you have severe or cystic acne. Not that it's impossible, but it takes quite some time and lot's of dedication. You might have better luck clearing mild to moderate acne with diet.

The best diet is to eat as much raw foods as possible. Fresh fruits and vegetables that is. They are very cleansing and won't stress your system with toxic chemicals (preservatives, coloring agents and what not).

Green, leafy vegetables are especially important. Yeah, I know they aren't especially palatable, but try green smoothies. Green smoothies are fruit smoothies with some green, leafy vegetables blended in. That doesn't sound very appetizing either, but if you blend 60% fruits and 40% greens it actually tastes like a fruit smoothie. Fruits mask the taste of greens. Try it and you'll be surprised - and your skin will thank you for it.

Another thing, stay away from foods that aggravate acne:
- sugar
- refined flour (white bread, pastries, pasta, white rice)
- non-organic red meat (comes loaded with antibiotics and hormones)
- dairy products
- fast food
- heavily processed foods (like TV dinners and other ready meals)

Potatoes are a good and quite skin friendly alternative to grains. Beans are also good.

Diet alone isn't usually alone as acne is quite a complicated problem. For much more details see: http://www.natural-acne-solution.com/prevent-adult-acne.html

Modern research suggests that food doesn't affect acne.
The best way to treat acne is to visit a dermatologist. You will get proper treatment and proper advices.
By the way there are actually drugs that completely stops acne!
BUT ONLY A DOCTOR WILL TREAT YOU.
