is there anyone out ther who can tell me if there is such a thing as astral travel, i have tried what it says in the book with no results. if so can you describe your experiences,

Utter rubbish.
You have to be a bit misguided to believe in the stuff really. I mean what is it that travels? You think because of your brain, the connections between the neurons, the chemical signals. It makes no sense to imagine having consciousness without your brain.
If you want to read something that will fill your mind with wonder then pick up a book on quantum mechanics - its mind blowing but its all real science, real physics that you could verify with your own experiments if you felt a need.
I can recommend a couple of books if you're interested.

Astral Projection is real, and is really dangerous. Never try it just on books alone. You will not get immediate results, you may need to re-wire your brain for it, as well as convince yourself you can. To me, it sounds like you are in the childhood stage of study, where you want to "Be an adult," but are not "matured" enough.
I've done it on accident. Go a few places, note things for later viewing to see if you really did, get shunted back into body by a shadow, fun times, fun times.

I've done it a few times or what I seem to believe to be astral travel. All I know is when your outside of your body looking at yourself, it don't get anymore real then that. That s h it is crazy, when you are in the next room but your body is still in bed, blows the mind boy. Then you wake up and you can't move but you can look around , pretty scary stuff.

Perhaps you may be imagining a travel in your mind... Mind is big trickster... Do you understand the levels of consciousness they talk about in hypnosis? .... The real feats they do by mind concentration in Karathe (dragging a bus with the hair tied to it... or breaking rows of bricks with the hand?)...
The powers of mind are still a mystery and the least little known about it is being used in treating some mental maladies or fighting for defense and so on... Unless greater details are made available people will only think according to their fancy ... either to dismiss it as rubbish or praise it as great...

This stuff is 100% true. i tried it by following instructions from a book. i only got to the ceiling of my room,lost courage then stopped. this happened twice while following instructions from a book. but a few times i went travelling without following any instructions. it just happened. Most of the time it was fantastic as i was fully aware of what was going on & in control of my astral body. i would strongly recommend you do not do astral traval without a true genuine guide or experienced friend as there are dangers. pls be careful. i learned from a book many years ago Authored by Lobsang T Rampa. Do your research properly dear friend. i'v sinced progressed to other forms of self discovery. its my duty to ask you to be careful. And best to use books as research material ONLY including the one i referred to earlier. best to find a true real guide who can show you the safety aspects as well etc . even the airplane pilots of our physical realm need instructors to guide them before they are fully qualified yes. take care dear friend

I don't believe anyone can answer this for sure. I have heard people say that it is possible and I have some pretty weird memories that fit the description of it. But, there are more important things in life to concern yourself with. What good would it do you if you could do this? It is cool to think about. But, beyond that, does it add to your greater understanding of God, Life, Spirituality, etc? So, it may be possible, so?

yeah, it's true but you are playing with dangerous stuff. the spiritual body and the physical body are not meant to be sepreated from each other and this is the work of more than just you. take note that there are demons out there and satanists tha6t use the same method to get around. i suggest you get rid of that book and find something more uplifting to read.
