Is there such thing as a psychic ability?

I am just wondering because I've experienced interesting things. I can usually tell when something bad or good is going to happen, what someone is thinking sometimes, I saw my cousin's remodeled house in my mind or in a dream before I actually went and saw it (when I was a kid) and many, many other things.
Right now I'm feeling depressed and like something is "missing", and it's driving me nutto! I can't seem to concentrate on anything else right now.

well, I see "spirits" as well, and sense them, and can see the "aura". I don't know if I totally believe in this stuff or not, I just know what I see and feel is all. So I'm just wondering and confused and curious.

Yes it is real. Yes everyone on earth has the ability to a greater or lesser degree. Sony Corp had an R&D section devoted to finding out about it for several years. They closed it down when they discovered that -any- child could learn to do this stuff (and therefore there was no way to corner the market.)

Be assured, it is completely normal. You are probably just a bit more talented, or more likely just a bit more observant and so you notice it more than others.

Some so called 'skeptics' will say it's just coincidence and some will say that because the same effects can be faked, that proves it's not real. To me that is ludicrous. No one would ever say that just because one dollar bill was shown to be a forgery or counterfeit that we should assume all dollar bills must also be forgeries and none are 'real' or genuine.

Similarly many people say well it's never been proven - but in fact if you actually look at the whole body of evidence fromall the paranormal testing by psychologists and researchers for the last 50 years or so - you will discover that the body of evidence is too large to simply say it's all delusions and hoaxes.

It is obvious that there is something real going on - by now science should have gotten past the "Is it real?" question and we should now be studying this subject seriously to define the character and nature of the phenomena in a more analytical way to establish what the real dependent variables are - questions like; Is it genetic? What is the bit rate for information transmission? What materials are transparent to the sense/ability and which are opaque? Is there a sort of psychic ability "litmus" test?

It seems there is still a lot of superstitious fear of doing any kind of serious research in this area. So I guess the best thing is just to start finding out the range of human potential for ourselves. The 'experts' can catch up whenever they get their act together, in the meantime keep exploring.

There is scientific and religious explanations as to what you have. I to have gifts, I can read people very well. I can meet you and talk to you for a brief minute and usualy feel if your in a good mood, Bad mood, Faking, An As*hole, and a myriad of other things. Recently I was met this women for the first time at my sisters house, I looked at her and as I shook her hand I was like "YOur pregnant, and your having a girl!" Well she damn near jumped out of her skin. She was amazed because she just recently found out she was pregnant and hadnt told anyone yet and though she doesnt know what she is having she thought she was having a girl also.
SO yes you might be "psychic" though I hate that term. Lets just say your Spiritualy inclioned and talented.

i'm no longer acquainted with psychics despite the fact that I understand those powers come from interior of. the only source i'm acquainted with is a prophet from God that could have a be attentive to awareness. words of awareness and information can come forth to the church or to a individual via a prophet. I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

It is said that we only use about 1/3 of our total brain's capacity and that all have untapped abilitites. So yes I would certainly say there is a possibility that we all havean aptitude for some sort of psychic ability.

so that would mean the whole world would have to be psychic which seems farfetch.
