I found several references to be a girls name in Chinese, but the only meaning I could find was ( niuniu white of egg ) in mandairin

give me the chinese caracters and i can tell what it means.
but niu normally means girl (when talking about human beings... it also means cow, knod etc - depending on the pronounciation)

niuniu therefore is "girl-girl", a belittlement meaning sth like "cute, little girl"
