just write from your heart..then practise infront of a mirror.. they will be proud of you just getting up and speaking..im sure.. good-luck

To give a really good speech, practice in front of a mirror and never try to memorize it. You're right on the money with your plan. Always include some humor and some sappy stuff.. .a good mix of both.

You and your sister, huh? Both of you have a conversation about your mom and future dad. Record it, listen to it again and write down the saddest and most interesting parts.
Then look at the notes you have and work your speech from there. Practice in front of the mirror and your sister.
