Only been casually seeing each other for 2 months. He started out really keen, and he always made me aware that he liked me, and I wanted to take it slow (I just moved to town about 6 months ago). So we spent time getting to know each other for a month, then I went on holidays for 3 weeks in which time he rarely contacted me. I thought he was just giving me space so I could enjoy my holiday. Since being back (only a week) he has continued to rarely contact me and we have only seen each other once, though we are both busy and it is Christmas time. Am I just making excuses for him and he has lost interest? Or am I over-reacting and need to give him time?

How about you try contacting him for once?
Why does he have to do everything?
From what I'm hearing, he's the one that's been following you around and waiting for you since you decided to "take it slow".
Maybe he runs on a different pace.
Or, maybe he's simply just busy. It is the holidays you know. The world doesn't revolve around you.

depends, you both in college? Alot of my friends dissappeard for awhile due to finals. If not then he could definantly be busy with family. Just continue to message him till the middle of next month giving him nice little updates on how you have been or whatever. If he doesnt answer you by the end of January then sorry but move on.
