died brown hair blue, need help to get it back!?

i have brown hair, i was trying to dye it black. yeah, well, it went purple. I dont know what to do. i have school in a week, and i cant have PURPLE hair. so my question. Is there any way to get purple-blue hair to go black, without dying it? (dying it would KILL my hair)

No the only thing you can really do is dye it black. Your hair will fade to a more natural looking color but it will not fade back to YOUR natural color. You have to wait and let it grow out. Striping the color out of your hair could damage it even worse then if you just dye it again, everyones hair is different.

If you dont want to use a perm black hair dye you can try something like Manic Panic Raven which is a veggie black hair dye - veggie dyes dont harm your hair at all.

Also if your hair is in good condition you should be fine using a permanent hair dye on it. Its only when people have weak/damaged hair or have dyed and bleached it alot that they shold avoid doing anything else to it.

You don't have to die your hair, you can use a black rinse. But be warned, that will eventually wash out in 6 to 8 weeks. You can also use a deposit only hair dye. It doesn't have peroxide in it and the peroxide is what is damaging to your hair. You can go to any hair store and ask for them.
