I met my current boyfriend 7 months ago dancing. He always pursued me, but I pushed him away til recently. I fell for him all of a sudden because he became less persistent with me, though he'd always tried. He's so polite, always buys me flowers, drinks, food, and even a teddy bear. He's said I love you. He asked to come over to my parents' house for Thanksgiving because his entire family is in Mexico. I said ok. Last minute he went to Vegas with friends. I was ok with that, but he didn't return my messages and wouldn't talk to me til a few days after the trip. I got mad at him and said I thought he used me. That got an apology, then he said he was having problems with his job and Mexico, then disappeared 4 a month. He didn't tell me where he went and I thought he was breaking up with me. I sent several text messages with no reply, but he met with me the day after he returned from Mexico and said he didn't want to burden me with his problems, that's why he didn't tell me. Is this ok?

No...it's not "ok". Something is up with this guy like maybe he has a wife and family in Mexico?? You should listen to your "gut" feelings, honey. Dump the "nice guy". He's covering something up and he's not reliable. ANd yes, you're being used at his convenience. Respect yourself and get out of this situation immediately. Godloveya.

no is not okay unless you want your love life and life end up like some silly Hollywood drama story, never ending tears and worry.

i don't know how old are you but i guess you are under 25 , hey you still young and there billion great guy ,good and okay guy out there , the last thing you need is a guy full of drama Hollywood style.
so either he tells you what going on or he can be single, think about it if he really meant what he says, he should be just be single and that will be the fact he never burden anyone not even you, because you won't even ever worry about him when he disappear regardless the reason.
people want to have couple so someone will be there for them not some drama, just think cleary in any situation shut your ears for a minute and let your head take control cause when he start talking sweet and you start listening then you'll buy whatever drama he want to sell you.
the bottom line is a horsesh**t when guy say that, he watch to many Hollywood : )
you don't even have to listen to all the answer go to quite place shut your eyes and decide what the best for you
well be smart girl and good luck.

I personally think that he does like you. However, it appears that he is having some family problems. I believe that he was going to spend the holiday with you, and some of his friends came around and offered the trip to Vegas. I would have went to Vegas too.

What I cannot condone is the fact that he went a month without communicating with you. Even if a man is having family problems or any other problems for that matter. They do not discontinue contact with their woman.

He sounds like he has some other things going on. If this is a new relationship like you said. Then you need to lay some boundaries. Confess your unwillingness to believe that he has not been cheating on you.
You will only know the truth from asking, and his body language. I am sure by now you know when he is lying or not.

Why was it necessary to tell us your bf was Mexican? I thought you were about to list some problem about immigration issues or something? I think you and your bf need to sit down and talk and you should discuss these feelings with him. Let him know that what he did wasn't cool and it made you wonder about where you stand. Be careful that he doesn't have a hidden family somewhere, though-SERIOUSLY...
