Like Grandmother Raven and honored her by placing her beside the Holy Bread and the Sacred Water?
She did give it to me, right? If I am supposed to pray to someone, shouldn't it be to someone I respect?

What does this ritual mean to you?
You can dress up a statue as Grandmother Raven, if you want to. I see no problem with that.
But what's the deal with the Bread and Water? How did the words Holy and Sacred get mixed in there?
Personally, I don't believe in Sacred Food....but if your mother gave these things to you....then do as you will.
Sounds a bit weird to me...but I see no real harm in it.

Dress away sweetie, its just another doll. No body knows what Mary looked like, your just offending yourself.

Only almighty God should be worshipped.
Not Mary.
To worship Mary would be like making a god of her.

When someone is very fundamental about their beliefs, it hurts them when someone thinks otherwise! But it's all your choice, it should be respected...but in the same extent that your choice should hurt no one!
