I gave other dudes in this predicament this advice on this forum, but they don't listen... I have no ulterior motives in this, and it costs nothing... And soon...
EVERY SINGLE LAST WOMAN WAS SICKENED BY THE DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION...
AND SOON DID NOT WANT THE HOT HUNK ANYMORE...
Even though they were drooling in the begining, and said he was such a gentleman, etc...
So the study confirmed that women are messed up dude...
They say they want all of this affection, and wish a man would love them,etc,,, and be romantic...
But as soon as it happens...
BOOM....IT'S OVER DUDE...
You have to take your time...
TIME TO LET HER TRY TO FIGURE YOU OUT...
You must be a CHALLENGE...

Why would you send her a letter? Talk to her vocally man. No wonder she was shocked, i don't believe in letters and notes if you can actually talk to a person, letters are for long distance communication not spilling the beans to some girl. I get shocked too when i get a random letter from someone that i would never expect confessing love to me, why can't they just have a conversation instead of trying to spell out thier words?

If she was shock she clearly wasn't expecting it. That's for sure. But only she knows how she feels. You could have caught her at a bad time, maybe she has a man, or maybe she just broke up with some one and doesn't want any body yet for a while. Maybe was looking for a guy then all of a sudden your letter popped up.
Maybe she didn't know you liked her and is wondering why your just now telling her.maybe she liked you a long time ago and you never paid her any attention and she didn't know that you knew she existed, but finally finds out that you do. Maybe she knew all along is just playing along with you. Maybe she doesn't like you like that. Maybe she doesn't like you at all. Who knows- call her up and ask her your self. that's the best thing to do anyways.

You have to be more specific. The tone of Voice gives it away. If its more tense she might think "Why havent you told me this?" or if it was calm she might be in shock because she doesnt know what to do. (Most of the time it means she likes you) If its in her normal tone it might mean she might of been friends with you but now that she knows how you feel about her shes considering still having you as a friend. Don't take that to seriously because i might be wrong. You know her best so you can tell the best. Remember the two tings that help is the expresion on her face and her tone.

We need more feedback. Like ur ages, ur backgrounds, ur history with the girl etc. Maybe add a few details.
Its not necessarily bad, id say its probably a good starting point if u make the most of it.

Well, it depends on whether you wanted to shock her or not.
How old are you, anyway? It sounds like you're pretty inexperienced with girls.
The best thing to do is to talk to her. Even if it doesn't go how you want it to, then at least you will know for certain, and not be wondering.

You did not supply enough information.
The female could be shocked that you liked her?, or she could be shocked that you actually said something to her, and acclaimed your feelings to her. Either way you would need to ask her to clarify her answer, and then ask us again. Because right now this is all the information that I can supply to you.

It means she was either good shocked or bad shocked. We can be about as helpful on this as football bat.
