Certainly not.
Every dog I've ever owned has been paper trained first. That way if there's ever a time when I can't get home and I know it the poor dog is'nt stuck with no alternative as to where it should do it's buisness.
Nows the perfect time to start moving her outside and it's easily accomplished but you really need to pay attention to her.
Leave papers down at night for her to use.But the first thing every morning you need to take her out.
Watch her while she's inside and every time you notice her go to the paper take her outside and stay with her until she goes. It'll take awhile as she'll be more interested in her new surroundings than going potty. But no matter what do not bring her back in until she goes.Give her lots of praise when she does and then bring her in.Gradually reduce the area you normally lay papers on for her to use until there's no more paper. It'll take a couple of weeks for her to stop needing the paper at all during the day but it's best if you put it down at night for awhile as an alternate to insure there are no accidents while you sleep.

maximum youngsters will hit upon the finished potty-preparation factor for themselves. have you ever tried her on the bathroom extremely than the potty? Get a new child seat and notice how she gets on, in line with possibility? If she's a splash older, you're able to bypass the potty altogether - making it lots greater handy for you in the long-term. do no longer push her, in simple terms attempt and inspire an pastime. attempt to leave her without undies on, so as that she learns to be greater attentive to her bladder interest and bowel strikes. you will do distinctive cleansing up, even nonetheless it incredibly is mandatory i'm afraid! Up her fluid intake to make this a swifter technique. And whilst i could in no way have believed it had I no longer tried it myself, the decal chart unquestionably works! good success, it is not too late in any respect.

I had the same problem with my 37 year old brother.

He wouldn't't pee unless I put a can of baked beans out.

I got hime to pee outside without it by slowly dropping baked beans in a line out my livingroom to the front porch.

I put them in a conga line ...a bit further out each night...and he'd pee a along the trail, till after 13 days he reached the grass outside.

I changed the locks on my house then and shampooed my carpets so i don't have the problem anymore with him.

I just have to train my girlfriend to stop doing number twos in the jacuzzi now...

Gradually reduce the size of the newspaper while solidifying the ritual of going outside.

Move the news paper outside in little steps ..till you get her to a spot in the yard where you want her to go ..
reward her greatly when she does go outside ...she will get the hang of it

My two will only go now at the farthest part of the yard near our fence .. well worth it if you walk or run in the yard barefoot :)

All the Best

its never too late for potty training. it may be more difficult and take a liitle longer for the pet to understand. start putting the newspaper outside for a couple days for it to get used to going to the bathroom outside and then try to remove the nespaper for a couple days and see if it goes. keep trying that for a couple weeks. it takes repitition. always reward for good behavior like going to the bathroom outside. they always love to be praised.

depends on where you put paper down i just had a litter of pups and i had paper in a conner of the kitchen and they went there but at night i put them in a cage with paper then slowly took it out and put their food in the cage they have to learn first to hold their bladder but when i get up i take them out now i only got 1 left so it is really easy but after i take her out i let her play for awile (only 2 months old) then i put her back everytime i get her out( every 2 hours) she knows outside is where she goes they won't go in the cage it's there safe place and bed

never too late. I trained my dog to pee on command -_-

Whenever he pees, I will give out the command "hurry up", praise and treat.

After a while when he knows the command, I will tell him to "hurry up" when we are walking. When he pees, I will praise and treat.

Hope it helps
