I've been married for a very long time and I know more than anyone, that when men have a certain problem, they retreat and simply don't share. Give him time, be supportive, and most important don't nag him as this NEVER helps. If he has stopped showing you affection however and you are feeling neglected, you must sit him down and talk to him gently and out of love for the relationship. If he loves you, he will realise you are hurting and maybe open up.. Hope this helps.

hmm well i don't know the total history of your relationship with this guy, but I'll try to give the best advice I can. He might not be talking for several reasons: he's tired of arguing, so he avoids talking at all costs:), he's bored with the relationship:(, or he might be having a hard time right now with work/school/family :/. You should ask him, that's what your there for right? you've been in this relationship for two years, you both should be able to do that (Even though at times its really hard). Be supportive and don't worry, if he said he loves you, I'm sure he means it, its something most guys have a hard time saying. Well thats my XMAS gift to you, hope everything works out well

Hmmm, not exactly sure how to look at this, but I kinda think he's feeling guilty about something.... Usually means he's cheating, sorry if that's the case. Or maybe he's just confused as to where your relationship is headed. Good luck.

a friend of mine has gone through the same situation...
his boyfriend had issues he doesn't want to share...they were not talking like they used to... "HE ALSO INSISTS THAT HE STILL HAS FEELINGS FOR HER"
only after a few months did she find out that his guy had been seeing another girl... they broke up after...
well, i just wanted to share...
you should talk to him and ask if there's anything wrong and him acting strange is worrying you...
