I don't want to feel anymore, i don't want to feel anything. It hurts and i just never want to feel again how do i stop feeling and thinking and hurting? I feel like i am on the edge of a precipice and i am so frightened that if i allow myself to feel the pain, i will fall. I am really afraid. i can't feel because i am afraid of what will happen. please i need to know how to never feel again. help me and please don't tell me therapy it does nothing, just help me to never feel because i can't do it anymore. how do i stop?

I know i am making it difficult for people to understand by not giving reasons but there is too much there and i can't explain it all here. I am just mentally and emotionally exhausted with everyhting in my life at the moment and every where i turn i see more pain. which is why i want to stop feeling because i don't think i am strong enough to feel anymore.

everyone of us goes through difficulties in life, but thats just it...you go through them you dnt stay n them...ther is an end to all this madness that is trying to make you go crazy. get around people and start making yourself smile and laugh as much as possible...it is your choice honey, you are the one that can make these 'bad' feelings go away by taking a deep breath and making that choice to not let circumstances get the best of you. go to a nursing home or to a homeless shelter and volunteer and you will b amazed that people you neva knew would b so blessed as 2 have been n your presence...you hang in there...i will lift you up to Jesus and put you n His hands.Love and prayers...An-g:) smile funny face, its medicine for yer soul.
Remember that God will never give you anything that you cannot handle:)

Once upon time was a prince. One day he went to hunt but his assistant didn't prepared his gun and the prince lost his finger. He have puted his assistant in jail. The Prince was living his life until he stuck in jungle among tribes of cannibals, but they have NOW eat people which have missing parts. Missing finger have saved the prince life. He went in jail and said thanks to his assistant. He said I am sorry you have spend too many years in jail but you have saved my life. The assistant said you don't have to sorry because you have saved my life too. If I was with you not in jail I would be eaten .
Every bad is happens for something good. Find out what was happens to you and why. Which are the goods thing and from what you have been saved. Think about it more and you will be happier and you are going to use the chances you have been given

You think right now that you don't want to feel any more.But that is not the answer,you like it when someone feels something for you,right? And when you felt something for some one it felt good,didn't it ? We all get hurt some times,and feel like you can't go on,like when some one dies.But you have to go on.So the person that died will live in you.If you don't remember the great times you had with them,then who will? And if you don't share that with some one it will be like they were never here.And if the problem is that you are hurt from a lover,that will happen also.My best answer,stop looking take a rest.When you aren't looking it will happen.Like when women want to get pregnant and can't.And then decide that they will never get pregnant ,and tell there men that it's OK ,I can't get pregnant that's when they get pregnant.If we didn't have feelings their would be no love.

Okay, say you stop feeling what are you going to do with the emotions that encompass your world everyday? Others won't stop feeling, so that will be sort of a downer for them and now you not only have no feelings but no friends as well.
Why does it hurt? Do you feel helpless? Hopeless? I hope that something in this answer triggers you to go see your physician and tell him/her what you are experiencing. They have treatment plans that can and will make your life much better and the feelings will be normal again. I think sometimes the pain gets too hard and it's easier to try to eliminate it. But, in life there are things you may be able to go around but most of them you have to go through.
Try eliminating the hurtful things in your life and the things that you don't enjoy and surround yourself with things that make you happy. Get rid of negative and bitter people, things and thoughts.
But, I do believe you need to see your physician, not a therapist, a Dr. can and will guide you in the right direction!

I think anyone reading this will be worried. I think if you wanna stop the pain eventually, you will need to share more details so we can help you get to the root of this. You know it's not possible to stop feeling and you know deep inside that is not what you want. Why not just share with us and see if we can help you. Take care in the meantime and dun do anything foolish!

It's true something is mentally wrong and it could be things other than depression such as Bipolar, GAD, and many others. I suggest an appointment with a psychiatrist for a full evaluation. If you let it go too long you could end up in the hospital. Luckily, I caught myself as I was falling when I was seen by a psychiatrist and diagnosed with Bipolar after 10 years of a depression dianosis from my regular physican.

Everyone goes through depression alot in there life, some more then others. Like me for example I have so much ****(sorry for my language) going on in my life, but don't hurt yourself just to stop "feeling". Life is a *****, but live for the moment and try to get through the tough situations. I know it was hard for me after my guinea pig died(yes I know it sounds silly but she was my first piggie and it hurt so much after she died) I cried for days I didn't want to eat I just wanted to sit there, so there I was sitting in my room feeling sorry for myself. Ok I'm going to stop yapping and get to the point. You need to work through it, only you and you alone know that deep down inside you want to live and live a happy life and you know how to make it better. But it does help to talk to a parent, or someone you're close to I know it does with me.

You don't, it is a major factor of life. But what you can do is realize the pain, feel the pain and pull it into yourself and accept it. If it is body pain, mind pain, life pain, pain is......
You can be fearless by letting your pain go. By accepting pain, you will stop thinking and feeling this abuse and by accepting that it will always be with you, and you CAN handle it, it will become less and less.
When you are born, you could have suffered extensive agonizing pain and just never let go. This is true. Please work with your body and mind in giving it daily routines to heal yourself. Gods speed

Busy yourself with work or other things.
Best is volunteer.
Or take a walk, I always walk my dog whenever I'm feeling troubled.
Then talk to friends or those professionals about it.
Here are some herbs for depression
tea- Damiana leaf/Skullcap
Bach flower essence
Mustard for deep depression and sadness
Gorse for helplessness
Do eat oats for nerve system.

I've felt like the way you're feeling many time. Just remember, things change. Always be ready to accept change.
A person can't literally "stop feeling." The can find different ways of dealing with you feelings.
