I think it would depend on how far away you are from each other. I personally know a couple that have been married now for over 3 years, they met off the internet, but they was only 1 1/2 away from each other.. With you saying that you are likely to never meet, I don't think that it would work out. Sure you can fall in love with words typed on a screen, or even a voice over the phone. But after a while not being able to see the one you are "with" can be hard. And no matter what promises are made to each other, never being able to have physical contact with each other ( in the long run) might end up with promises being broke.. ( know what I mean?) I would say if you know that you will never be able to meet, maybe it's just best to keep it as friends... But if you are able to meet, I wish you the best!

Yes, of course. I met my boyfriend on the net and took a chance. Now we live together with a baby on the way. Our love grows more and more each day.

No, I don't think it'll last.

And also, you never know who's sitting infront of the computer. He might be a 50yr old pot-bellied man, picking his nose and surfing porn WHILE chatting with you online.

Yes and yes. Met my fiance almost five years ago and he proposed to me yesterday (Christmas Day). My man was local so that helped!

Of course it can last, as long as you believe it will. It all boils down to, to how you feel, thats what matters.
