yes, so im not completly familiar with mormanism, and i am altogether confused.

I once had a morman man (two of them actually) come to my door ad "share the good news of Jesus christ" but this is perpelexing to me. im not sure if this is true, but i heard that mormans think that Jesus is the brother of lucifer, and had many wives.

I have heard of this morman "holy undergarments" which is to protect the temple worthy morman from sin. and then i ask myself this again, if Jesus died for the morman's sin, why would he need this?

if there are any latter day saints out there (i know you dont like to be called mormans, i dont know why either, if you could explain this that would be nice)

Ok, I am a Latter-day Saint. The reason why we prefer Latter day saints is because people confuse the nick name mormon with us being a cult. they think we worship mormon. this isnt true. we were nicknamed mormons because of our book of mormon. it is called this because a man named mormon compiled the records of his people from over the last few thousand years onto one set of golden plates. This is why we call it the book of mormon, because a prophet named mormon put the book together.
Now I dont know who told you Jesus had many wives, but ive never heard that. We dont teach that.
As for the under garment thing, we dont talk about them as they are sacred to us, and would mean nothing to someone who has no connection to them. I will say this though. Dont some people wear a cross to remind them of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross, and in the Garden of Gethsemane? Consisder them as our reminder of our covenants to God. That is all anyone need know. If you want to know what Mormons, or Latter-day saints are really about, then go to www.lds.org. Click on Basic Beliefs. it is on the right hand side of the screen. It will tell you what you want to know. You can even ask questions. Have a wonderful New Years, and God Bless.

I won't bash the Mormon religion but here's a few things that they teach:

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three different Gods. They are therefore polytheists and not monotheists.

They are taught that good Mormon males grow up to be gods of their own planet. Women are here to help populate.

Revelation 22:18-21 covers what Joseph Smith Jr. wrote with book of Mormon.

The gift of salvation is clearly covered in the New Testament of the Holy Bible and anything else is a farce.

Mormons are taught that through works and the book of Mormon are the only way to heaven.

I would recommend reading "Religions A-Z" by James Beverley to get additional information about this "religion" along with many, many more.

The book of Jude (book before Revelation) also refers to the Mormon religion...

No where in the Biblical text is it written that Lucifer and Jesus are related in any way, shape or form. Lucifer was an angel (Isaiah 14) and Jesus is the Son of God. HUGE difference.

Happy New Year!

These are all questions which have been asked and answered before, but I will refer you first to an official website to learn more about our beliefs. See link below.
Since we are all children of God, we are all considered spiritual brothers and sisters. It doesn't mean Jesus Christ and Satan were like number 1 and number 2 in birth order or anything that close. And even if they were related that closely, what is the difference between that and the "Star Wars" movies, where Luke Skywalker is the son of Darth Vader? (Not that this is part of our religion, I'm just making a comparison).
I don't think Jesus had a lot of wives. If he were married, the writers of the Gospels did a very good job keeping His family unknown, perhaps for their protection.
There are covenants made at baptism, and there are covenants made in the temples. The garments are associated with higher covenants made in the temple. If you end up studying with the missionaries, they will explain more of what covenants include. They are very Christ-centered, and the temple is a beautiful place of peace and love and worship.
Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

I am going to tell you that Mormons are like Jehova's witness's, they are a cult, stay away from them unless you want to get more confussed and decieved, and eventually risk your soul. Jesus is not the brother is satan who was Luciefer in Heaven. Lucifer was just a created being, and Jesus is the only begotton Son of the Father. Lucifer, worshiped Jesus at one point until his pride got the better of him and was thrown out. Luciefer was like the other angels, byt with more wisdom and was beautiful, the most beautiful of the angels. Lucifer, not Satan is NOT the brother of Jesus, but an enemy of Jesus. Satan like the other angels, I repeat once worship Jesus, and Jesus is part of the God head. God the Father, God the Son and God the holy spirit. (The holy trinity) Jesus spoke the angels into existance, like he spoke the world into existance, as the Father gave him the power to do that. Satan is a created being created by Jesus. Satan is now doomed and at the end of age he will be cast , with all of the other people who are not saved into the lake of fire buring with brimstone for all eternity(Ouch) Jesus only come into the word to do the will of the Father, and that was to preach the good news, perform miricles of raising the dead, healing the blind, casting out demons etc, and up until he was 30 Jesus was a carpenter like his stepfather Joseph. As soon as Jesus reached 30 he started his full time ministry, and was baptised by John the Baptist who was preaching to other people about the lamb of God(Jesus). Jesus died for our sins and 33 and a half at Calvary. Jesus was buried and was raised to life again by his Father in Heaven. After he raised, he was seen by many people for 40 days, and then was witnessed by over 500 people his assention into Heaven. He was never married, he was not interested in that, he was interested in doing his Fathers will and completing it. That is way on the cross, he said"It is finished", in other world he finished what his Father told him to do. Do not believe the lies of the Mormons, as I call them Morons. Please read your bible, and if you have not got one may I suggest you go and buy one. The king James, or the NIV(New International Version). The holy bible is also good. Read the new testement of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and you will see for yourself the life Jesus lead, without listening to other peoples lies, who really do not know him, or of him. I hope you find the truth, as Jesus said "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free" Do not believe the lies of man, but believe the world of God (the bible)

Eh, everyone's got their own beliefs. Why is Jesus and his 45 wives more "out there" than the virgin birth or a resurrection? And they have some pretty good skiing in Utah. As long as Mormons stay out of public policy, I've got nothing against them.

This is the wrong place to be asking this question.

There are a lot of myths out there about the Mormon religion. I think this is out of fear that many other religions have of the LDS coming out so aggressively and seeking converts. I am not Mormon, but if you really want your questions answered I would go to this sight:

And if you want to email them questions you could probably do it anonymously:
