No, because they'll interpret whatever they see in the context of religion, not in the context of UFO's or ghosts or whatnot.

The World of the Jinn
Throughout history man has always had a deep attraction for the supernatural and the unseen. The existence of a world parallel to our own has always fascinated people. This world is commonly referred to as the spirit world, and almost every set of people have some concept of one. With some people, these spirits are no more then the souls of dead people- or ghosts. With others, spirits are either the forces of good or the forces of evil - both battling against one another to gain influence over humanity. However, both of these explanations are more in tune with folk tales and fantasy. The true explanation of such a world comes from Islam. Like every other way, Islam also claims to explain this realm of the unseen. It is from this realm that Islam explains to us about the world of the Jinn. The Islamic explanation of the Jinn provides us with so many answers to modem day mysteries. Without the knowledge of this world, the Muslims would become like the non-Muslims and be running around looking for any old answer to come their way. So, who or what are the Jinn?

Abilities

That which clearly distinguishes the Jinn from mankind, are their powers and abilities. Allah has given them these powers as a test for them. If they oppress others with them, then they will be held accountable. By knowing of their powers, we can often make sense of much of the mysteries which go on around us. One of the powers of the Jinn, is that they are able to take on any physical form they like. Thus, they can appear as humans, animals trees and anything else. Over the last few years the interest in the subject of aliens and UFO's has become heightened. Programmes such as the X-files and the Outer limits have increased the popularity of the theory that aliens exist. Thousands of people have sighted strange looking creatures all over the world. These sightings however, have still not proven substantially that aliens exist. Rather - and it seems more plausible all the sightings of such creatures were just Jinns parading in different forms. So the next time you see something that looks like E.T, its most probably just a wicked Jinn trying to scare and confuse you!

A Brief Account of the True Nature of the UFO Entities
Gordon Creighton presents an interesting "alternative" to the UFO Phenomenon.

One of the more curious features of the followers of the various religions is that, being so dogmatically certain that in their own particular little faith they already possess the whole Truth about all things in Heaven and Earth, it almost never occurs to any of them to look elsewhere and find out what the followers of other religions may know or may have discovered.

This is certainly a pity, for study of all the great world-religions - and notably Islam - would yield valuable clues as to the true nature of the so-called "UFO Phenomenon" and would rapidly eliminate much of the fatuous "Space-Age Mythology" that has been spawned in such profusion over the last three decades.

Islam knows, in fact, of the existence of three entirely separate and distinct species of intelligent beings in the Universe, and indeed can furnish suprisingly precise details regarding their natures and roles and activities.

More likely. You could say because religion is not based on anything besides faith, it does leave enough room open for other... non-relative material for some to believe in.

Look at what some of the cults have come up with and you'll see some prime examples of religious people being "hoodwinked" into believing things that we would otherwise not believe in.

Of course, cultural differences also play a part. Ultimately, it's how much you are willing to accept as truth or "real" that determines how much you will believe.

Dear frined,
Spirituality confirms the presence of spirits everywhere . Even National Geographic Channel Scietifically propved the presenceof frequences ( So called Spirits or Ghosts') less than 20 Mgz .Even if they existed , they are harmless. It jus' the people made stroies , Horrible generally.

When a person dies , his soul leaves his body and remains intact till it gets a new body , Sometimes it's said that people who die un"naturally remain restless till their actualy perioid of death comes . I quoted the word restless for the soul or the so called spirits or Ghots . They try to make their presence like a normal being , but when they fail to do so ( Which is what the normal case is ) They tend to become visible .
Like Indian 'Super Sinats ' Mentioned , Sometimes human beings tend to develop a ( The english word would be 'SuperSensibility') apart from ,touch , feel , hear ,see ,smell . They can see the spirit . I can go on and on and on and on this . Coz i talked to many people on this and one of my close frineds uncle ,: Claimed ' to have see the Ghost ... Interseting ... Is it' not ..?

Hmmm. i think of Eri's answer has some relevance on the question -- if knowledgeable all people is way less probably to have faith in God or different Divine capability, then consistent with danger they fall decrease back on the supernatural? There seems to be lots anecdotal data approximately unusual issues taking place, or perhaps although there are scientific solutions for that available (the suggestions fools itself, in accordance to Steven Pinker), it somewhat is not uncomplicated to have faith our brains could play such nasty tricks (-:. And who knows, consistent with danger there's a scientific foundation for many the very extraordinary co-incidences available? (or consistent with danger it somewhat is in basic terms our brains searching for types, and ignoring something that would not slot interior the trend.) besides, a ghost or telekinetic in no way claims to be staring at over all humankind, profitable the best and punishing the undesirable. It in basic terms seems slightly greater achievable a technique or the different than Divinity, and consistent with danger that's why. (-: Or it must be that school-knowledgeable people have too many suggestions cells that are working idle, and that they spend their time thinking and speaking with reference to the paranormal. IDK. i understand i've got questioned and explored the sector a lot, although, and that i'm college-knowledgeable, so i assume I fall interior your parameters.

Mostly less, but those that do believe in such things, tend to think they are evil, or of the devil. However, I does kind of depend on what you mean by normal people. Lots of people who only believe in science, would not believe in anything they can't see or prove, so compared to them, I guess deeply religious people might believe in those things more, but still consider them evil.

I do the best I can to be a spiritual person; and I have seen several UFOs.

I have never seen little green or grey men; but I have seen Unidentified Flying Objects.

They may have been from somewhere else, atmospheric phenomena, or secret technology built by human beings.

many religious people don't believe in ufos or alien lifeforms because it messes up their belief that god created our little earth as if it was important in this tiny speck of the universe. to understand that other scientific dimensions and life in other galaxies must exist requires a certain amount of intellect and lack of arrogance. many religious people are smart, but most are so arrogant that they think 1) their religion is right and everyone else's is wrong, and 2) god only cares about earth

What they believe in is no different. They are probably less likely to believe in a different brand of nonsense than the one they prescribe to, but i see no real difference between someone who believes they have talked with god and someonen who believes theyve talked with aliens.

I think they are more likely

From experience.

I think it takes a certain kind of personallity to believe in those sort of extreme things.

You'd think they'd be less likely, but I just keep seeing these deeply religious people believing in this stuff.
