recycle, reuse, don't create a market for useless items, encourage government and utility companies to develop alternative energy and pay the development thru your utility bill, buy a hybrid car...pressure elected leaders to crack down on polluting companies and to at least get into talks regarding world wide efforts to limit emissions....pressure the government and farming interests to use creative farming methods.

Me, I DEFINITELY think that our lifestyle is indeed affecting the environment. I think that global warming is a terrible issue plaguing our planet. Here are some means which I try to practice to reduce global warming. I encourage my parents to let me walk to school instead of they driving me. I am person that studies Environmental Science therefore I try my best to implore to people means of keeping a healthy environment. All I do is try best to ensure we have a clean environment by telling them about the effects of global warming. Right now its critical that we educate others about global warming. In addition, the pizza place where I work part time uses there waste carbon dioxide emitted to heat there hot water needed for various reasons. I was the one who encouraged this after seeing this on television. People should try to encourage this practice as the carbon dioxide emitted in atmosphere cause global warming. In addition, we use motorcycles powered by electricity when delivering pizza. All we can do is educate people on the topic as much possible. These include ways such as through the media ( radio, t.v. , newspaper), going into our schools and workplaces, using billboards, flyers, advertising on food articles such as boxes etc. Just as much as possible to tell about this problem and in doing so we evaluate the effects of gobal warming and ultimately means of mitigating the issue

Global warming depends very much on CO2 and granted we do burn a lots of fuel . CO2 is not the problem it is the stupid of people. Mother nature fixed the CO2 problem a few million years ago when she introduced green plants. Plants absorb CO2 and give us back oxygen. If there spiel on CO2 is not true neither is global warming.

There are plenty of ways to control global warming. The First way is to reduce, reuse and recycle, as this will reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in the air. Greehouse gases causes global warming.
By not using private transports, and instead use public transports, you can reduce carbon dioxide, which is also a greenhouse gas.
Doing campaigns to reduce deforestation will be good.
There are many other ways to stop global.
Here is a website which tells 10 ways to reduce global warming:

The question implies that man has some influence on these events. Certainly a lot of people still believe so. For the most part this belief is just that a belief system. Until recently we had no explaination for the apparent cold and warm cycles; for example the "Little Ice Age". Solar Scientists have recently shed some light on this in terms of cycles of solar activity and the amount of sunlight reaching earth.
Personally I "believe" that man can have some influence in a number of ways.
The "enhanced greenhouse effect" is a possibility, it is possible that the amount of Carbon dioxide in the air will increase by as much as 0.06% of the total atmosphere. Not a lot but about 1.5% of the total of green house gasses, most of which are water which of course comes and goes rapidly from the air.
It is also possible and on the face of it likely that airborne pollutants are reaching the stratosphere where they reflect sunlight away to space, sulphur compounds are the most likely villians. This is called global dimming and would cool the Earth. Most global dimming comes from ice crystals and as such is a natural "feedback" or damper to global warming, pollutants may be the nucleii for ice crystals.
It has long been thought that clearing of forests in Europe led to climate change in the past. It is possible. Forests are much darker than grasslands and may absorb much more heat from the sun. Lighter grasslands would be expected to reflect more light back to space. In short clearing would be expected to cause cooling.
So how can we control global warming?
Plainly most of it is part of a natural cycle. Eliminating as much Carbon-dioxide as possible may have a very slight cooling effect.
If we were to consider that cooling was important we would also increase our atmospheric pollution, much as we did in the 50's to 70's and we would cut down as many trees as possible. Not
In conclusion I think that we can infuence global warming, slightly but if you argue that we should go to great lengths to reduce Carbon-Dioxide emmissions on that basis you would also logically argue that we should increase airborne pollutants and cut down all forests.
Perhaps we are better off planning for the change!!

cant control something that does not exist.
Global Warming is a natural happening. The Earth is moving out of the Little ice Age. 1400-1850.
Look it up. Man is not killing the earth. Never could.

global warming is all bout releasing GHG into our surrounding such as co,co2, nox, sox, cfc. by controlling the production of these gases is sufficient to control the global warming.how? by trying to solidified these gases by reacted with other compound, thus when it solidified we can kept it at safe area. we can also revised our regulation and lastly educate our people.
